Oh dear...

Told you, she's a bloody crook, nothing to do with being right wing, right wing media, prosecuting political opponents or any of the other rubbish spouted in her defence.
The thin veneer of ethics that once covered the Clinton campaign has been stripped back and is now distant in the rear view mirror. She has been exposed for what she is, the DNC has been exposed for what they are and her campaign has been exposed for dirty tricks - which was enough to cost Nixon his presidency in 1974. So even if she were to win, which looks increasingly unlikely now, she's probably going down in an FBI probe.
Although it is a bloody disgrace that these two are the best the US can offer. He's not much better, but I'd rather have someone with some misogynist tendencies than an outright criminal in the White House.0 -
Theoretical question, but I wonder what would happen if they were both charged with crimes. Could they still stand? Would the election still go ahead? Would their deputies stand as president instead if they couldn't?Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I was wondering what would happen if she is charged.
Surely it makes a mockery of the presidential election, to have one drop out. Does Kaine immediately take over? I would assume so.
If Trump is charged with sexual assault I suppose Pence would take over?
Then both would announce new VP tickets?

Great question! He claimed there was WMD in Iraq and Hillary seems to think he was using private email servers for official government business too.
Bush, Powell, Blair, Clinton, are you noticing a pattern? I sincerely hope we in the UK do prosecute our leaders who take us to war and lie to the population. We sent young men and women to die and destabilise an entire region.
If the political will was not for keeping her out of court, she'd damn well be in it.
I caught a very brief news article on R4 when I drove home last night saying that African countries are pulling out of the International Criminal Court because it is only for white westerners or they would indict Tony Blair. There's a good article about this in the Guardian:
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/oct/26/gambia-becomes-latest-african-nation-to-quit-international-criminal-court
The announcement late on Tuesday came after similar decisions this month by South Africa and Burundi to abandon the troubled institution, set up to handle the world’s worst crimes.
Sheriff Bojang, the information minister, said in an announcement on state television that the court had been used “for the persecution of Africans and especially their leaders” while ignoring crimes committed by the west.
He singled out the case of the former British prime minister Tony Blair, whom the ICC decided not to indict over the Iraq War.
“There are many western countries, at least 30, that have committed heinous war crimes against independent sovereign states and their citizens since the creation of the ICC and not a single western war criminal has been indicted,” he said. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? They are quite correct.
It's about time the Blair's, Bush's, Powell's, etc.. were hauled in front of a court that would dispense some justice.
The West has gotten away with so much for so long and the rest of the world is supposed to just sit there and accept it? I don't think so, we should be hauling our leaders over hot coals for some of the things they've done.0 -

I see what you mean. The very suggestion that Clinton could make it to the White House is quite outrageous.0
