Trump is in danger of starting World War III every time he opens his mouth. I wouldn't call that funny. This is real life not a TV show.

    Well that's me told.

Of course you are assuming that what Mr Trump is saying is what he thinks and believes. TBH, if you do then I think you are a bigger idiot than you think Mr Trump is.

Try to see what's going on rather than swallowing the line from the BBC.

Mr Trump (probably President Trump IMHO) is selling himself like he has sold apartments for decades.

Could a factor here be that the young like Bernie and he is still in the race? Although the big news is the Cruz pull out, Bernie even won Indiana. If/when he finally drops out, those votes could well fall in behind Hillary.

Bernie was supposed to win Indiana. (At least 538 said so, and they've been pretty much on the ball so far.) In fact Bernie is supposed to win almost every state left to play for. (Apart from, I think, NJ and DC.) The problem he has is that winning Indiana 52.5% to 47.5% is neither here nor there; to be 'in the race' he needs to win 70-30 to have a chance of overhauling Hilary.

Now he is almost certain to be the Republican nominee watch as his rhetoric will now soften and change dramatically from how it was months ago - it's already started.

He is a salesman and is selling himself so he will say and do whatever he thinks will win him votes, that is the bottom line. Now he needs to try and win over the people who liked Cruz and also the moderates who would consider voting Democrat.

He will become less extreme and more middle of the road. Personally I'm glad Cruz is out of the race as I think he was genuinely dangerous - Trump I think is more likely to become more liberal as that is his natural stance (another reason why Republicans hate him) and actually has a shot at becoming President (which would be an utter disaster).
I am insane and have 4 mortgages - total mortgage debt £200k. Target to zero = 10 years! (2030)

...Trump is going to destroy Ms Clinton I suspect. I think that it's going to be very funny to watch. He's also likely to drag the Republican party in a new direction quite dramatically too. I think Mr Trump is likely to be as revolutionary to the Republicans as President Reagan was.

I suspect that Trump has the potential to beat Hilary.

Goodness knows whether he will or not. American politics plays by its own rules.

I'm not convinced Russia, the UK, France, Italy ect will get involved over a wall built in the US to keep illegals out.

Trump can say whatever he wants but he will have a hard time getting anything done without the support of Senator Cruz, Rubio and friends.

Maybe not, but I dread to think what might happen should he start shooting his mouth off when dealing with China, Russia or Iran.

(The wall idea is nuts anyway. I presume they have ladders for climbing and shovels to dig tunnels in Mexico)

Unlike Obama, Trump thinks we should work Russia.
If China hasn't nuked the US yet over Trumps comments about fairer trade I don't think they will.
