No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries February 2016

A few final, and unexpected UUs for me:
- Sure Invisible aqua deodorant. WNBA - much less effective than other ones I have tried!
- Clinique smart customer repair serum, sample. WMBA. I do like this, always have - and sorted my skin out quickly after the awful Soap&Glory one. But not quite as good as the Organic Surge one I think!
- Organic Surge replenishing facial oil. WMBA. I don't use facial oils usually, but this was lovely. If I was going to use one, it would be this - very light, lovely smell, sinks in so well, leaves skin feeling so silky.0 -
Couple more UUs for the end of the month.
31. VO5 Plump It Up Amplifying Blowdry Lotion. WNBA. Made my hair sticky and stiff. Smelt of nail varnish remover.
32. Sleek Eyebrow Pencil. WNBA. Too waxy, not very pigmented.
Also, I went shopping. Shocker!
INs
28. Primark Road to Marrakesh candle
29. Primark White Amber candle.
30. Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo, from the poundshop. I've never used dry shampoo but I wanted to see if it would give some texture to my hair when it's too clean to hold a style.
31. Herbal Essences Bee Strength Strengthening Spray. Poundshop again. I like leave-in conditioners but hard to find cheap so giving this a go.
32. Max Factor Miracle Match Foundation
33. Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil
34. Maybelline Color Tattoo Creamy Mattes Crème de Nude
35. Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express mascara. Had this before and liked it. This was reduced to £3.99 and still included in the 3 for 2. I think it's reduced just because it has a 10th birthday design.
At the end of January, my stash total was 540.
In February my INs were 35. UUs 32. GA 25. TA 4. Stash total now 516.
See you next month!0 -
Last UU for the month : Ole Henrickson Facial Serum. Sorry can't remember full name. I love the smoothness of my skin in the mornings after using this but it makes my skin feel sticky then dry following application so WDNBA.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Bit disappointing for my PP this month. Most of the remaining items are right at the end though, so hopefully they'll be finished shortly!
I've run out of foot creams, so I plan to use some of the slightly odd smelling body lotions/creams I've acquired from hotels to use them up.
I'm also almost at the end of a couple of body sprays. I'm a bit of a weird mishmash of scents at the moment, but so determined to get through my stash properly this time!!abbe89 wrote:[STRIKE]- No7 face cream (not much left in this, so a bit of a quick win!)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- 3 x mini body butters (the size you get in gift sets - haven't selected specific ones but aim to get through 3)[/STRIKE]
- 3 x hotel/gift set sized shower gels (again, not being specific on which ones!) - I've finished 2 so almost there!
[STRIKE]- 4 x biore nose/face strips[/STRIKE]

UU
1)Nivea eye make up remover - wba - very gentle.
2)Tesco baby wipes - everyday essential
3)Lush so white - I like lush products, this one was ok, didn't really smell wintery but was nice enough.
4)Skin wisdom youth protect eye treatment - wba - felt like it actually tightened a bit
5)Avon Bella perfume - Wdnba - I found this to be a very light perfume, I could barely smell it myself, felt like it was bland, nothing special.
6)Soft & gentle deodorant - the pink one - Jasmine & coca milk - Eva, does what it says on the tin.
7)Tesco pro formula citrus anti dandruff shampoo.- I like this product, I have another one in my pp list to use up but I do think Tesco have discontinued it.
8)Sample of Black XS perfume Wmba, was quite nice but someone I know wears this regularly so I think of it as their perfume.
9)johnsons baby wipes EE, everyday essential, always have baby wipes on the go, surprised to say I feel like these have slightly irritated my skin.
TA
Boots hairspray- WBA - does what it says on the tin. Had to throw this away because I knocked it into the toilet - joys of being clumsy.

Proberly more to come, I expect I've got "lost" stuff stashed away which I will come across, I think it's quite a collection for someone who never wore make up which explains why there's so much of it I suppose.0 -
Last Uus:
One Direction, You & I perfume. Pleasantly surprised, nice floral smell without being sickly sweet. WBA but my next bottle will probably last longer than the band.
Miss Sporty body cream: Secret sanra gift. Moisturised ok and smelt nice but WNB.
Montagne jeunesse Ginseng and cucumber face pack.
Must return to weekly manicures as Ive neglected my nails and they're becoming very weak and untidy.0 -
Just adding my last UU for February:
Balance Active Formula 6 in 1 Cleansing Facial Wipes - Not bad for 25p, they certainly did the job and left my face feeling tingly. Might buy again.
The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream 30ml - WDBA HG - lovely hand cream.
Garnier Self-Heating Sauna Mask with White Clay and Zinc (Pack with 2 sachets) - I would say this is HG as it really worked on my skin and cleared up some acne I had. The 2 sachet pack lasted 4 uses.
Nivea Visage Wash Off Cleansing Gel 1.5ml sample - Not enough there for me to determine how effective it is but I prefer my Neals Yard cream cleanser. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
My final count was 20 UU's in February, which I'm pretty pleased with, as it felt like it was a bit of a slow month. I'm trying to UU a lot of my samples and sachets that I have been hoarding, so this is probably why my numbers are this high. Eventually I'm going to slow right down!
Right, best head over to March to list my PP items for the month0
