Val - The guru of a few of us here, Caroline Hirons, recommends using the acid toners then following with a spritz of a hydrating toner, to maximise hydration. I am using either IBST or Darphin Intral, but also found BS Aloe very good, so you may want to hold back on finishing your IBST and try her system. The two types of toner do different, but complimentary jobs IYSWIM:) Neither type are like the old fashioned "pore closing" toners.

Maddiemay I have been following this regime probably for a week and my skin does feel cleaner due to this. Thanks. Emma's skin is looking so much better too since using the Murad system . Not clear yet but the spots look less angry. Hurrah.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

That is good news for you and Emma. Pleased about the Nails Inc polish too, I remember when you said that your fave was almost finished:(, I searched for a dupe for you, but didn't come up with anything:(

I seem to have really itchy skin ATM, both on face and hands, if it persists I will try some anti-histamine, am trying to remember to use more of the gallons of hand cream that I have dotted about the house, no excuses at all, just a rubbish memory!

I now. I kept seeing photos of polishes but it was different to gauge cos in some light they looked either too grey or too teal. I nearly ordered a bottle of Zoys Genevieve recently.

  • Evening all, just back from my very belated honeymoon (been married 9 months now). It was lovely although I kept burning which is unusual for me and OH didnt:eek::eek: so have peeley bits now:(
Using lots of moisturiser to try and help fix it. Took loads of bathbombs and didn't have a bath in our room so now have lots of crushed bathbombs..glad I sealed them in plastic bags first!

So I had a couple of INs before I went:

Wilko mini deodorant and dry shampoo

    UUs:
Soap and Glory mini sugarcrush body scrub
Right Guard Total Defence 5, onto my last proper can so will have to get some more when I get chance.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

    Hi ladies!
I've neglected posting much this month, sadly it's been a slow month and i've made a really poor effort on the PP list :(

Sorry to hear you've had a rotten week Gemzie. I hope next week is better for you.
