  • Where's that wagon? Oh, yeah, I fell off it. Some of these were needed. Some were most definitely not.

    14. Superdrug Tea Tree & Lemon Conditioning Shampoo. Recommended to me as I have an occasional itchy scalp. Apparently tea tree is good for that so happy to give this a try.
15-17. B. Nourished Night Serum, B. Refreshed Essence Lotion and B. Confident Moisture Gel - no excuse. All 1/2 price though.
18-19. L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo and Conditioner. Again, no excuse except was 1/2 price.
    20. Lush Floating Island Bath melt.
21-22. Lush Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb x 2
    23. Chapstick Original. The lipbalm I had in my handbag ran out while I was out and my lips are so bad I couldn't wait until I got home so got this in the poundshop.
    24. MUA Skin Define Hydro Foundation. I don't have any CC creams left and can't find a cheap one to try currently but this is very lightweight so worth a go as a CC replacement.
    25. MUA Pro Base Prime and Conceal Palette. This has peach, lilac, green and yellow colour correctors plus a concealer. Getting a bit sick of people asking if I'm ok because I look tired. I know I look tired. Thanks for pointing out how obvious my eyebags are! Hoping the yellow will counteract the bags a bit plus I often have red blotchy patches so I know I'll use the green, too.
26-7. Patisserie de Bain Gift set Duo. Free with my B. purchases. Not going to keep for myself.

For the outs, I have UU:
    23. L'Occitane Shea Lip Butter. WNBA. This is the second of these I have used up this year. One was from the advent calendar, this one from a free gift set I got at the same time. They're not especially moisturising, they don't seem to sink in.
    24. Lush Rehab Shampoo. WDNBA for my hair but would consider buying again as a makeup brush cleanser. Makes the brushes pristine. Which is probably why it's no good for my hair - far too stripping.

Also GA the Patisserie de Bain freebie set. Added to my box for the local women's refuge. Someone there will enjoy 'Cranberries and Cream' much more than me, I'm sure!

Just curious as I seem to have no willpower compared to most of you, what triggers you to buy apart from needing things?
With me, it seems to be getting bored of the things I have or trying to cheer myself up. Currently this is because I'm exhausted, sick of physio and, TBH, anxious about an upcoming hospital consultant appointment.
It is my main vice, too. I don't spend loads of money on clothes or shoes or anything else so if I'm in a spendy mood it will almost always be on makeup/toiletries. Just being nosy really about what sets others off on a spending spree!

I'm the same - get bored of things (but usually when they're spluttering), cheering myself up. Also trying something new, like the moisturiser with a high SPF I just got, and I'd not tried a BB cream in a long time. My skin also tends to change seasonally, so that's a factor in buying too.
I don't spend loads either. I stick to cheap-ish clothing shops, and my only other vice is books.

I have very little willpower and as you this is my vice. I love trying new things, it cheaper than most other things to buy depending on what it is and it looks/ smells appealing. I don't have the same issue with make up but have enough. Stress is a big trigger with me and I use sheet masks/ bath bombs etc as a way to escape/ relax.

    UUs
    55) sure maximum protection deodorant WBA

    56) nature republic first essence sheet mask WMBA not my first choice.

    57) comforter bubble bar WBA
Note to oneself, check the tube before liberally covering your face in face cream. It was not face cream but sun cream and I really don't think I need to apply that at nearly 9 pm

Re Willpower, I'm kinda a keep things simple, a bit skeptical and a how much! type of person when it comes to products, so I'm not too bad really but my triggers are finding bargains but in the short time I've joined this challenge I've been holding up ok purely because I'm doing the challenge, same goes with my book & dvd challenges, not sure how I'll resist when my stash dwindles though especially as I'm enjoying reading everyone's opinions so I'll be curious to try things.

    UU
Nivea eye make up remover - wba - very gentle.
Tesco baby wipes - everyday essential
Lush so white - I like lush products, this one was ok, didn't really smell wintery but was nice enough.
Skin wisdom youth protect eye treatment - wba - felt like it actually tightened a bit
Avon Bella perfume - Wdnba - I found this to be a very light perfume, I could barely smell it myself, felt like it was bland, nothing special.
Soft & gentle deodorant - the pink one - Jasmine & coca milk - Eva, does what it says on the tin.
Tesco pro formula citrus anti dandruff shampoo.- I like this product, I have another one in my pp list to use up but I do think Tesco have discontinued it.

    TA
Boots hairspray- WBA - does what it says on the tin. Had to throw this away because I knocked it into the toilet - joys of being clumsy.

    In
Palmolive shaving cream - 48p in tesco
Palmolive shave stick - 15p in tesco

Johnsons Baby wipes. - everyday essential.

Proberly more to come, I expect I've got "lost" stuff stashed away which I will come across, I think it's quite a collection for someone who never wore make up which explains why there's so much of it I suppose. I haven't included hair removal in the list such as razors, shaving gel, cream.

I honestly thought I'd be getting through things much quicker than I am! Finding it a little frustrating, but nevermind!

    3 UUs over the weekend

2 x mini S&G body butters - WBA, lovely scent and really nice and moisturising

    1 x Sensodyne toothpaste

I've never properly finished a tube of toothpaste, always seem to have loads left in it, but I've treated myself to a tube roller so I've got every last drop out of this one!

    Catch up on my PP:

    - 3 x mini body butters (the size you get in gift sets - haven't selected specific ones but aim to get through 3) 2 finished
    - 3 x hotel/gift set sized shower gels (again, not being specific on which ones!) - I've finished 2 so almost there!
    -[STRIKE] 4 x biore nose/face strips[/STRIKE]
    - Boots Botanics hand cream
    - Joules Hand scrub

1 TA last night : LE super balm (the one in a small pot rather than full sized in a bottle). I inherited this from Emma when she decluttering but it smells like Playdoh so I'm chucking it. Have a Burts Bees balm to use next (which I also inherited) and then will be graduated in cuticle care items. Once that is done I will strive to apply hand cream more often than I do as if I do this I don't need a specific cuticle care product.

My trigger at the moment is GWPs. Need to stop as it is stupid. Am just adding to the stash.

Whilst it was really lovely of LE to send me the hand serum I have used this recently and did not like the fragrance. None of my friends liked the fragrance either so I have ebayed it.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

VALM - I don't seem to be tempted by GWP's anymore, I got so fed up of minis of products that I had no intention of buying full sizes of.

Deleted_User - my triggers are feeling fed up, falling out with DH and watching Youtube videos, also the half price offers at Christmas.

I haven't been tempted by GWP for a long time and think it is because they always include the same old same old products. Lancome always have a bottle of that blue toner stuff, Clinique always seem to have All About Eyes and the same type of mascara, Elizabeth Arden always seem to have those gold capsule thingies they do. There are so many products from these companies I would love to try and they never put them in GWP sets.

    32. Bobbi Brown Eye Cream Sachet - 1ml of this decanted into a pot lasted a good month, its very rich. WDBA I have a few larger samples of this to get through first. it is lovely and has really helped to stop my under eye concealer creasing.
    33. Kiehls Perfume samples x 2 different scents - WNBA, better off as room spray.
    34. Benefit Porefessional deluxe sample - not sure on this one but surprised that 3ml gave 9 days of use, i must have a tiny face:rotfl: some days it looked good, other days it seems to make my pores more obvious than usual.

I have a severe inability not sample size blagging, so even without GWP's I have bathroom cabinets, bags and boxes full of skin and hair goo. I came back home yesterday with a box full, due to Fashion Week promotions in the mall.
