  • Hello everyone!

I went to a wedding fair yesterday and got a beauty goodie bag so ins of dove shampoo and conditioner, mini pixi glow tonic and alpha h liquid gold. Excited to try these two as they've been on my radar for a while and I know Caroline hirons raves about them so we shall see if they are worth it!

Also bought the British beauty blogger aveda box for fine hair so I'll have ins during the week. I got the invati one and it's such a good deal, £20 and worth well over £90 with three full sizes! OH is trying the curly hair box as well. its on latest in beauty if anyone hasn't seen it yet.

I didn't get to the aveda kit in time, sold out! Gutted to miss a bargain but I guess I didn't add to my stash.

UU: neals yard power berry moisturiser. WNBA. Really too light for my dry skin, ended up finishing it off as a body lotion.

Hi all. I finally have a uu

Philosophy Hot Buttered Rum Shower Gel 100ml - I would happily use this again if it came as part of a set but I wouldn't purchase individually.

Repainted my nails last night with Essie In Stitches, I do notice how beautifully Essie polishes glide on compared to all my others - even more expensive ones.

    UUs:

Another hotel shower gel, just one more to get through!

    INs:

    Maybelline Lipstick - Pink Punch

Garnier Miscllar water - I was intrigued by this product everyone was talking about and I have to admit I love it!

St Ives Grapefruit exfoliator - my current exfoliator is about to run out so I wanted to try something different as my skin has been really tight and sore of late with some breakouts and white heads (feel like I'm back to my teenage years!)

Yes to Carrots night cream - used this years ago and I loved this range. Keeping this in my stash for when my current No7 night cream runs out.

Soap and Glory - archery brow kit - my current Younique one is about to run out and I've realised that I much prefer the pencils to my brown eyeshadow to fill my brows in. I don't mind using my eyeshadow for during the day but for going out at night I prefer the pencil as it's more effective.

I feel like my skin needs some new products hence why I changed my night cream and bought the miscellar water and exfoliator. Once my day moisturiser is done I'm going to go into L'Occitane and try some new products. I think I might even need to start using the anti-ageing stuff...I still look young enough to get asked for ID (even though I'll be 31 next week) but it's never too early to start preventing the ageing process!
    #27 £2016 in 2016 = £763.61

    #42 £2 Savers Club = £160

*Savers Club not included in overall 2016 savings until the tin is opened and my estimates have been confirmed later in the year.

    Another UU:-

Bare Minerals Prime Time Primer (travel size). This is gorgeous. I had a chat with one of the SAs last time I was in Debenhams last week about the difference between the varieties they now sell. Of all of them I think I'd prefer the Original (which is what I used). I have 2 x mini tubes of No 7 Protect and Perfect Primer to use (one has been opened already by Emma so will use that next) and a tube of MAC Prep and Prime that has already been open too. Once I have UUed the No 7 one I will decide which one to buy when I graduate.

UU 7/22. M&S Pure Instant Radiance Hot Cloth Cleanser 200ml - free with a beauty box last year, this was nice enough but retails at £10 and think there are others I'd prefer to buy for that - Liz Earle at the upper end, and the Superdrug one for a cheaper fix. I have 4 other full size cleansers to get through so unlikely to repurchase before the year is out!

Busy weekend preparing for hols (taking lots of minis with me!) so not have a chance to keep up with you all - will catch up later.

Gemzie - thanks very much for taking the time to recommend those products - I'm able to shower normally now so long as I don't soak the wound, but it would have been a godsend a couple of weeks ago. There's a chance I may need further surgery so I will bear them in mind (instead of my makeshift plastic stationery sleeve and elastic band jobbie :rotfl:)!

    La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat+
    Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector

Soap & Glory Peaches & Clean 200ml (this was free)

I forgot to say that I hit pan on my Benefit Dandelion this morning - I reckon it will still last a very long time.
