  • what a dull dilemma...

I did this to my husbands not long into our relationship, the new jumper fitted me perfectly :D I did ask him if I should give him some money, but he didn't care. I think you should confess and apologise (although you were being nice and doing his washing!) and give him the option, he may have HATED the jumper and be glad to be rid!
  • Yes, but make him do his own washing in future.

  • Yes. you certainly should, and why on earth didn't you read the washing instructions on the garment label first?
  • Nah don't bother buying a new one.

It will be hilarious watching him trying to squeeze into the child size one!!!!

NOOOO soak it overnight in cold water with lots of fabric softener then rinse and dry flat and it should be ok
No, it won't be, and fabric conditioner damages wool!

    Whats next?
My boyfriend put a wash on and the idiot put a red t-shirt in a white wash now all my knickers are pink.
Should I march him down to the shops and insist he replaces them?

Once it's shrunk, there's not much you can do with wool, unfortunately. Except find someone small enough to wear it :rotfl:

Yes you should offer to replace the lambswool jumper, also explain why. Don't wash his wool stuff again- either he does it or he pays for dry cleaning.

Is this a serious question? Of course you should replace it. Had you bothered to look at the instructions first, the jumper would be OK.
