I'm starting to think that the people contacting MSE with these 'dilemmas' may need more help getting through their lives than can be provided on a forum.
Oh here we have it. A glorified taxi driver thinking he has seen it all and now considers himself a qualified psychiatrist. Person ones days of sitting around in a large vehicle with blue lights eating probably mcdonalds and other such fare and the sense of self importance he attaches to himself. I am studying part time for a law degree as well as working but I wouldn't go into a crown court with a robe and wig and act like a barrister.

No - change the boyfriend for one who fits the jumper.
  • I would buy him a new jumper, then in true moneysaving 'old style' , I would unravel the shrunk jumper and knit him a scarf and hat :)

Wool jumpers are the itchiest things in the world..

They are.. but acrylic goes all static.. and it gets a bit whiffy :rotfl:
I go for proper wool and put a top on underneath it.

I have also been known to accidentally shrink wool, as it's so sensitive to temperature change or heat. It's a b*gger to wash, it really is.
