Thanks Apple Muncher for challenge and inspirational quotes, got us through a bleak month.:T:T:T:T:T

Well tried proposing today but every male I know has turned their phones off.:(

Sorry didn't post yesterday was in sleepy mode in the evening. My body cannot cope with 3 nights of drinking. :o

Now been asked to a comedy night next weekend I not sure I really want to part with any money and not sure it is my thing. Would prefer to stay in and stay warm, plus be rush as I am dog walking duties after work. Hmm am I boring? or focused on being debt free?

    Counting today will be 17SFD

Spent yesterday bought concert tickets for friends birthday got a Tribute ELO group playing locally, so that way we can have a few drinks. if the band is rubbish. Also bought a hot choccy had a glorious walk around local NT garden surprised at flowers that were in bloom. amazed walked 3 1/2 miles around there without noticing. Needed a hot drink as it was tad chilly first thing, nice fire pit there for walkers to warm up - much appreciated.

    Grateful for
Being in work - so I don't need to put my heating on at home.
A brilliant weekend, fun packed thanks to Zoo and NT cards no cost other than1.60 hot chocolate and being spoilt with free wine/cakes Friday and Sat nights - thanks to great friends.
A one off cash in hand job given to me today. Hope to complete tomorrow.

Sorry for going awol - the laptop battery died. It was on the list after the Christmas repair but slipped off sometime this month. Just did a couple of hiccups then switched itself off and that was it.

I should be fine running the challenge from the library (less restrictive than I thought) but today I have to post and run as I am waiting in for the furniture collection from 1 - 5 pm.

Thank you for an excellent challenge apple muncher.

Did the painting (first coat) yesterday - 22 pieces of wood, 14 of which were being stored inside. taken loads of material to the charity shop this morning. Some large pieces and lots of small - suitable for puppets, dolls' clothes, patchwork and cushions.

Today I am grateful for charity shops and their volunteers

Thanks for running a fab challenge this month apple.

Xspender - sorry to hear your house sale has fallen through.

I will get paid from my temporary job Friday which I am really looking forward to and will make decisions about extra debt repayments or putting it into our EF or something.

This weekend was a cheap one but I do need to get my act together re Mother's Day.

    Evening all,

Sorry for my absence, I am back to feeling down, like I was September - November time last year. It has kind of crept back over the last week or so and today I cried as I walked into work. However, I have great colleagues and got through the day fine in the end. I am having the evening off marking and planning as think part of the issue is never seeming to have more than 12 hours off work.

I haven't done well on SFDs but I didn't break the bank either.

Tonight I am having leftover takeaway from when I had guests on Saturday so that will be nice and I batch cooked Spanish chicken last night, and will do lasagne tomorrow. I have plenty of food in for the month after a mammoth food shopping session on Saturday.

    Hi everyone,
I know Ive been missing for most of the month but I have been doing the challenge, I have achieved 18 sfds, spent to the limit on fuel, but overspend on food, my excuses are visitors, family and days out and away with one of my oldest friends who has recently got back in touch!!!
It was lovely to be back in touch with her and its been great to get to know one another again. Anyway things will quieten down now as she has gone back to her own home and not stay with her aging mom, so I will only see her when she comes this way again.

Anyway, some news from me, I have come into some money and its frightening the hell out of me, as I have been frivolous with the stuff in the past, I don't want to go wrong this time around, so at the moment its in a bank account I rarely use until I can get used to the idea.

So see everyone over in March.
