If you read the terms and conditions there's a certain amount of anonymous data collection - age range, type of activities, places you but vouchers etc which they sell (personal data including email address stripped out). I try not to think too much about it but these places will get data from somewhere and at least this way I'm getting something out of itEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

I deleted and re installed Moves and its slighlty better. About 4000 steps short but at least I still got my points this time!0

I have just got a Fitbit Charge and have downloaded the Bounts app & added my Fitbit, plus have downloaded the Moves app to get extra points. But does that mean I have to still take my phone with me to get the points, as that was the whole point of me getting the fitbit, when you don't have pockets to put your phone in?Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

Your fitbit will record all your steps and sync with your phone when you next get close proximity to it. Not sure how moves works but if you download mapmyfitness and set it whilst you are doing a 20 minute walk....it will show as an activity and give you extra points on top of your step points.
Hope that made sense.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

This is a worthwhile point. If your step counter is not the same as your GPS tracker make sure when you go for a walk or run you take both with you.
I now run with my Vivofit on my right wrist and my GPS watch on my normal left. Double points! I ran into work this morning and got 20 points for the run and I'm already on 9000 steps so an extra 20 points from that. Those who risk nothing, Do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothingMFW #63 £0/£5000 -
Here's a question for you all! I have the mapmywalk app on my phone and it works well measuring the 20 mins activity. I've recently downloaded the Strava app too. Can I have them big running at the same time and so therefore get double the points?0

Not on the same account you can't :A
And worth remembering Strava uses 'moving time' not total activity time as the time it gives to Bounts so if you stop for whatever reason you need to keep an eye on it.
My cycle to work is about 20 mins but an be done in under that so if I stop at traffic lights or junctions I have to take that into account so Strava has the total moving time at over 20 mins for Bounts to log itThose who risk nothing, Do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothingMFW #63 £0/£5000 -
I've been through this whole thread and I think my question has been answered, just not as explicity as I'd like, but can anyone tell me this:
Does bounts give you points for your 7k steps if they form part of your "activity"?
Basically, I'm currently on the free version and do at least the 7k steps walking to work and back mon-fri. I'm fast enough to do the 5km per hour so register one as an "activity" via Runkeeper and let my iphone health app count the steps.
Should I currently be getting 10 points per day or just 5 as I don't do the 7k steps in addition to the activity if that makes sense?
Would I benefit from upgrading to premium? Do I get the same number of points per steps/activity but can just log more? i.e. since this is the most excercise I do, would I only get 15 point per day on premium - 1x 7k steps, and 2x activities?
Also, my iphone health app seems to be updating on a weekly basis, is this the same for others? Hence why I can't answer this question myself!
Hope the q's make sense.

Sorry just read that premium gets 20 points per activity so I'd get 40 points a day on that, ignore that question0

Your steps count as part of your activity and park of your step count. So if you do a walk on runkeeper of 7000 steps you will get double.
Today i did about 19000 steps then a 10km run on strava which added another 8000 steps. So i got 60 points for the 21000 steps plus 20 for the strava activity.0
