No spam here, aside from the usual.
Hope you guys get your vouchers soon. They've always arrived pretty quickly for me. I'm more than a third of the way to my next voucher so we'll see. It might be better to tweet or fb them as they seem to respond to those messages.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hi, does any one know an Android app for counting steps that will sync with Bounts other than Moves? {I can't set up Moves on my phone and don't want to buy anything extra like a physical device}
Thanks0 -
My apologies if this has been discussed somewhere on the previous 14 pages of comments (I haven't been to the Bounts website either - work blocks!), but, what would be the likely earnings for a 45 minute / 12 mile each way cycle commute? Could I upload Garmin data (I've got a little basic unit for tracking my journey as opposed to a high flying all singing unit).
I also go on the occasional walk, but really, the cycling is enough for me.0 -
Moves has stopped working after the latest update. It only counts about 20% of my steps so no points. The majority of my points are from steps so unless they sort it out or Bounts add another android step tracker it will be no more bounts for me!
Luckily enough i have enough points to get my £15 premium fee back!0 -
SG this is driving me nuts too. I'm about 5000 steps off. So I tried an experiment. I set my phone timer for a minute, then I walked around the building watching my steps count. As soon as I stopped, it went back down to where it was before. So I did it again, and this time it let me keep 4 steps. I've emailed the apps developers to let them know it's not working.
A cynic might think its all a bit convenient...Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
My DH has the moves app, and he's been unsuccessful with it so far regards it registering his steps properly. Annoying for me too, as I want my 100 points for referring him lol!
Walked past that gym in town again today and got another 20 points!Walked past it on the way back too but that didn't register, obviously didn't leave enough time between it.

My phones built in app counted 15000+ steps today and moves only registered 5000. Normally before the update its within a few hundred.
On the Play store there are hundreds of reviews saying it no longer works so hopefully soon there will be another update to fix it.0 -
How does this work, surely they are not giving vouchers away for free. Is there a membership or is the app paid for in some way?Olivia Rose0

There is a premium and premium+ paid-for version.
The free version has some advertising, but you can turn it off in premium and premium+, and I think some of the venues and apps associated with it pay a fee.
I'm not sure I fully understand their business model and I keep expecting them to go bust :rotfl:
For what it's worth, I seem to remember something on Facebook a few months back where they said they only employed 4 people! I don't know if that's changed since the MSE influx but it might explain low running costs and some of the problems they've had with the recent inrush of new members.Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?
