I will do some digging!!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Quite a lazy long weekend this has turned out to be, although still fighting germs. Had a lovely afternoon at SILs yesterday with family.
Went out for a walk with the dog today, we did get a little bit wet but not too bad. This week I have a deadline of getting the accounts to the accountant by next Monday - this could be pushing it a bit!
Now the clocks have gone forward I'm looking forward to the lighter evenings so should be able to get more done with the dog/horses etc. We have made it through the winter :j
March has felt like a long, slow month progress wise, to be expected after the speedy progress made in Jan/Feb.0 -
Just finished reading your diary and you're doing brilliantly. Hope the germs are gone soon.

Thanks Jue & MfD for popping by.
Wages have transferred into my spending account (food etc anything that isn't household bills). There was 27.11 that NEEDED to be tidied over to savings
Just waiting for the monthly interest to be applied then I shall know what the total is for March.
Trying to decide when to arrange a food shop to be delivered too as there is not much in - however it is making us use up things that have been hanging around for ages so I might try and hold out a few more days!!0 -
Despite logging into my ISA repeatedly yesterday, there was no interest added, which leaves me a bit confused as to when it is added (last time was 29th Feb so thought it was last day of month!).
I will do my monthly status check and it will just have to be added to April's figures instead
Mortgage (aim 0): £0/£9,400 (100%)
ISA (aim £30,000): £1048.21/£6,000 (17%)0 -
Sounds like things are bobbing along nicely! I agree that March seemed very long...loving these lighter nights now, makes a huge difference!!

The main thing I need to get done this weekend is to get the accounts off to the accountant.
I'm very pleased that this is nearly done :j
Just need to check if there is any VAT to reclaim for March and to put them all into Excel format and I'm done.
Also I need to do a mealplan and an online shop - still not done this!
I saw it mentioned about Meerkat Movies on another thread, so thought I would check that out. Unfortunately it is only for Tuesdays/Wednesdays and with the work we have on at the moment there is no way I could watch a film at the cinema mid week - I'd be falling asleep!!! Maybe one to look at when this big project finishes though.
The interest appeared in my ISA on the 1st, although it was dated on the statement as the 31st after it had gone in. Anyway counting that in April's figures now, so we are off to a start with £24.03.0 -
I can't believe it is Wednesday already, the weeks are flying by.
Meal plan for the next 3 weeks completed and food arrived last night so nice full cupboards again. I tried to change the slot to today, but the cost of the basket went up by nearly £40 due to different offers, so left it as it was!!
I've requested a £25 payout from SB, so hopefully should be able to shuffle that over this month. The energy switch CB also appeared in my account this week, so that's another £30 over to the ISA.0 -
Impressive meal planning effort!0
