I'm feeling rather efficient today, a bit of work, prepping for a demo tomorrow, meeting the wonderful SHS family, making 2 kinds of soup & a traybake, having DD around for dinner and visiting reli in hospital - shame I didn't get round to ironing, my attire could be interesting this week :rotfl:0

First day of the week is done! Also forgot to add on Sunday I did a freezer inventory, meal plan for this week and part of next, ordered the bits needed online. This will be coming today. After it shows in my account under the pending transactions I will be able to see what is left over for shuffling
Did the demo for a new customer yesterday and I think it went well (I can never tell!).
Walked the dog & pony and clocked up about 80 steps short of 17000. So tempted to walk round the block, but absolutely wiped out!0 -
Happy hump day
Shopping has been, just a little shop to get us to the middle of next week (much to delivery drivers delight). So £200 transferred over. There will be no more money movement now so end of month totals can be done.
Mortgage (aim 0): £0/£9,400 (100%)
Savings (aim £30,000): £2042.00/£6,000 (34%)
I'm very pleased with the progress, although a little nervous about May. A lot of expense and very little time. Deep breath0 -
Great job Elephant!
You are a lot fitter than me. Those hills!0 -
Thanks SHS, I need to compensate for sitting down a lot when working, I'm sure you spend many more hours on your feet than I do.0

Sometimes I think sitting is the new smoking! (I sit for hours working too)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I don't think it is very good for you, that's for sure! I've seen standing workstations in use, but typing on a keyboard standing up doesn't feel right - maybe it would with practice.0

Hey ETE, amazing steps!! That's incredible! Savings look like they are building nicely, hopefully May will be better than you think!

Good job we have a BH so I can get over the weekend! Great time training, but very tiring and nothing much else done.
I managed to plan 2 very easy meals that could just be thrown in the oven so avoided the takeaway temptation.
Interest has been applied to the ISA so May is off to a start with £24.18. I've also requested a payout from SB, so that should turn up soon.
I have a crazy list of things to do today, so I will have to concentrate on those that really *need* to be done today.
Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday.0 -
I know what you mean - I have a long list of jobs to do today. Thankfully indoor jobs because it is a bit grey and blustery out. OH is manfully jet washing the patio though.
I am waiting for interest to start the month - apparently TSB can't automate this over a bank holiday weekend.
Have a good BH and don't work too hard0
