Another room finished - our bedroom. It looks amazing and is making us wonder why we would want to move. We have such big rooms here and all the houses we have been looking at the details for seem so small in comparison. Of course if we want to make use of our new field then really we do have to move, so onwards we go.
Food shop delivered yesterday, so that will be all the food needed to get us to the end of the month. Dog food is now the only expected expense needed from my account so should have over £100 to shuffle to savings. Very pleased with this as have had quite a spendy month (vets bills/dentist/wardrobe).
I will also have travel expenses too to shuffle over to savings when I manage to get some admin completed!
Lots more decluttering over the coming days. Our dining room is next on the list and it will be a big job. We store a lot in there and use it as a workshop too.0 -
One positive is that if your not sure why you are moving as its so good, then hopefully you will have lots of interest as others will think the same!
Other property sounds interesting, it does sound intriguing, and if you enjoy that kind of work perhaps it will be worth it in the long run!

Rubbish! Struck down by a yukky bug has meant I've not been able to do anything for 5 days. Do these bugs not know I have things to do!!??
On the one hand I haven't been eating, so maybe have saved a few pennies there, however also have not been on top of things that should have been shuffled into the freezer so the food wastage maybe balances out?
Hopefully will be able to get some work done tomorrow if all goes well today. Hubby is cracking on with the dining room, I thought I could sit on the sofa today and watch something easy going, went down to find all the dining chairs piled up in there!! :rotfl:One positive is that if your not sure why you are moving as its so good, then hopefully you will have lots of interest as others will think the same!0 -
Ooo it's my mse anniversary, 1 year today.
What a lot has happened in that year!! Amazing0 -
Congratulations! Go on, I dare you, list your achievements2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks KC, now where do I start?
Cleared mortgage completely
Saved just under additional 26k
Found bargain field & stables (blinked and you would have missed it)
Negotiated and purchased field, with additional money borrowed from business and a small inheritance (unfortunately) appearing
Managed to get mortgage planned to move near to field
House nearly completely renovated, ready to sell and worth more than I hoped.
Qualified for Crufts again (costs lots of time & money, so feel it's relevant!)
Sold 2 ponies (a long time fail, so a miracle really)
 here's to the next crazy year0 -
What a fab year round up! Cant wait to see the next year!
Hope you are feeling better!

Thanks Jodles, I'm getting there!0

Oh my word! That's a lifechanging amount that you've managed to do in just one year ... even if it was 5 years, it would still be impressive. That elephant really got eaten :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Wow what a lot you achieved. What classes have you qualified at crufts for?Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
