yes I think I could follow those directionsMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Our house is now on the market :T
I've just seen the photos the EA took yesterday and the place has never looked so tidy!
Also went to see the house at lunchtime that hubby spotted around xmas time, it was lovely. It is a lot smaller than where we are now but I'm sure we can squeeze in. Just got to hope it all times ok now with finding a buyer and that house not selling before then! We are going to see a couple more later in the week, but I don't think they will be as good.
We are still continuing with good mse habits, meal plan and online shop done. I remembered to add the price difference vouchers this time as you can only select them on the desktop version of the site and not the mobile version. That was nearly £5 off.
Used up a couple of overripe bananas in pancakes for breakfast today and have enough for tomorrow too.0 -
What a lot has happened since i last looked in and what an amazing 2016 you had .Hope you get the house you want ,yours sounds lovely so im sure it will soon sell.0

Thank you TH, we shall see what happens on the house front. There are lots of thoughts and ideas and what ifs at the moment - too much thinking! I think we need to wait a few weeks now, not had any viewings in ours yet but it has only been a couple days!!
Looking around if/when we do move I don't think it will take long to pack given all the sorting and decluttering we've done.
CP needs updating - a bit behind with the weekly check in. Shopping delivery came in at less than planned too, so feeling like it will be a good month for money left over!
I have a job waiting to be done that will involve leaving something running for a couple days on the dining table with cables and such like, trying to think when I can do it without worrying about people coming round to view the house. Maybe Saturday evening as surely the EA wouldn't work on a Sunday? Maybe I should email and check.0 -
We have viewed 4 houses this week, 2 definites and 2 definitely not. So that's good progress and looking hopeful.
First viewing on our house is booked for next week so I feel things are moving along now.
Just got back in after being out with the dog and doing the horses, it is mighty chilly out there.
Hubby is going to do the running around and getting horse bedding tomorrow so I can hopefully get the quarterly accounts/vat done, although might be a bit much to do in one sitting for me. I will feel a bit more on top of things once that is completed. I'm definitely not a leave it until the last minute type of person. When I was younger I used to work better under pressure, but certainly not now!
Then next weekend we can start fencing the new field, I'm very excited about that0 -
You've really got going, EE - it all sounds very exciting.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks KC, I'm starting to get excited about moving again now. Felt a bit fed up when everything that was for sale was so uninspiring. We have a couple nice ones we have our eye on so fingers crossed!
Well I've managed to complete all the accounts, sent off the last 6 months to the accountant and submit the vat return. Can hardly keep my eyes open now though, far too much screen time! I feel so much happier now though. Now to relax for a bit.0 -
Exciting times! What are you looking for in a house?0

We didn't think our wish list was too bad for a house, but I think we are more fussy than we realised.
It has to be within 15minutes drive of new stables and not too difficult to get to family, so can't be to the North of the field.
Must have at least 2 decent bedrooms as DD2 is 18. Parking (not necessarily off road) for 3 cars as DD2 will be driving soon. Also not communal type estate - this was not on the list originally but have seen quite a few where you would be on top of the neighbours daily. Rural & character house would be great. Of course price is the big factor - we have quite a broad price range but there is still not much in the range. The one I sent you the link for us our number 1 at the moment, they are desperate to move and have reduced it, just hope we get an offer in time on ours before it goes.0 -
Fingers crossed then!0
