That sounds very interesting!
And as for not getting much done, of the fencing - prep work counts, believe me2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh alternative option sounds interesting! Hopefully viewings will increase as Winter breaks and people will want to be looking for their Spring/Summer home!
Well done on making good way on the fencing, must be very tiring! Well done on asking the farmer to trim, we had to get the farmer to mow our paddock and he ran over three of my trees...I was heartbroken and we now have a ride on lawn mower (no horse power for us!haha) so we never have to ask again!
Best of luck with everything!

I seem to have lost the ability to quote on my phone!
Anyhow, totally agree KC on prep work, what we have done looks fantastic so worth doing - plus will last longer.
I feel bad for your poor trees Jodles, I have to admit I prefer not asking anybody for anything either. Unfortunately we needed a tractor with a big chompy thing so had to get a man in.
So things are looking very positive with new direction, apart from having to wait for other people again to get back to us - I'm so impatient0 -
Ok full steam ahead!!
In a nutshell -
Keeping current mortgage free house and renting out to DD.
Scraping together 10% deposit for our first choice house (saving like crazy, raiding the business account and checking the back of the sofa)
Getting 90% mortgage on new home and living happily ever after.
I won't bore you all with the complex headache inducing decisions, of which there were a lot, but we are happy with the decisions as being right for us right now.
So first job we have the mortgage AIP received and our offer accepted on the house. :T
I have a crazy plan to pay this off in 10 years. So I'll be sticking around for a bit. With a rough plan for the first year to get the bills/EF/business account fund back up, then year 2 save for the extension, then years 3-10 chuck money at the mortgage.0 -
Last night I transferred over the travel expenses for last month to add to the pot. Also transferred a large amount over to cover some of the deposit. We need to send statements showing we have the funds to EA & broker, so lots of financial admin.
Finally also got hubby to register for online banking for the bills account that he has just been added to. This way he can pay for moving expenses as they come up instead of waiting for me to do it.
I'm not overly impressed with the budget, but not a lot you can do about it!0 -

This needed big flashing light signs, so I've done the next best thing. Great plan!
ETA - except it won't do it, trying again.

Oh how fantastic! What great news! Not the having another mortgage but the saving of hassle by having the house stay in the family!
