Goals for the week
[STRIKE]1. Go to bed no later than 10pm every night (no late nighters!)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]2. Take a packed lunch to work every day. Even on the days I can't be bovvered. And to remind myself that they actually do taste nice and are a damn sight fresher than a sandwich made in a factory by some unknown being.[/STRIKE]
3. Plenty of NSDs. I'm not sure how much petrol I have in the tank but I am hoping that it is enough for the week. The windows are being cleaned this week so I will need £6 for that.
4. Continue with the declutter. I am not giving myself a focus area this week
5. Don't dwell on things too much. I can't change the past. No one can!
Tea was lovely tonight. I love my slow cooker. They really are a super investment. Plenty of left overs for tomorrow as well

Last week was a bit rubbish tbh. I am under an unbelievable amount of stress at work and having to drive past where it happened twice a day is not helping my emotional being at all. I did get paid though which was nice. I now have £2500 in my savings account but I owe £160 on my CC and my BL is a few quid over £1k.
This week I need to chase up my SL again as they started to take repayments out of my wages even though I have already paid the damn thing off. I have telephoned them and I have to send them a copy of my payslips which I will do this week. The refund will go straight into my savings account.
I had to do the big shop this weekend so we have plenty of food in. I don't need any petrol for my car which is good really as the money in my spends account has to last.
Goals for the week:
1. No late nights
2. Not to let things to get to me at work.
3. To take a packed lunch in everyday
4. To get all of the ironing done. All of it.0 -
Well, I haven't updated for a month and my spending hasn't been that great as a result. I haven't touched my OD but I had to top up my spends account a few times from the bit I had left over in my bills account (I put in there a bit more than needed every month). My CC bill has crept up by £100 as well. Not good.
On the other hand, my BL is now below £1k.
I am in the second week of a fortnight off work and, boy, the break has been needed. I was getting really down and stressed at work and things were getting on top of me. The atmosphere is rubbish at the min and I know that I am going to go back to feeling stressy when I go back. Grr
Whilst I have been off, I have been catching up with much needed jobs so the kitchen has been scrubbed clean and reorganised. There are also a few binbags to take to the charity shop. I have sold a book on fb and have been busy listing things on ebay. I need to be debt free and have oodles of pennies in the bank.
I have removed my NSD tally from my signature because it isn't as easy for me now. I used to love having 6 or 7 or more NSDs on the trot but that was when it was just me. Now, I have a little one unexpected spends always crop up ... stuff like, being out of milk or bread ... stuff that I can manage without with if I was on my own. I am keeping track of my selling off my tat tally.
Having said that, I was paid five days ago and haven't spent much. I treated my car to a full tank of petrol and my boy and I had a sly McD0nalds carpet picnic as the weather has been sooooooo rubbish.

It was lovely thanks
We hadn't had one in agesss and the toy in the Happy Me@l was ace. I wasn't sure about my son's need to swap meals though lol
I am totally behind the times, but I have finally figured out how to cook rice without messing it up. Finally. No more shall I use my awful rice cooker (which has gone to a Chazza Shop) and no more shall I buy precooked rice to nuke in the microwave (always been bought on offer mind)! With my newly found money saving skill, I have made normal rice, veggie fried rice, egg fried rice and savoury rice and each dish was soooo verrrrrry nice. I have bought a bag from the ethnic aisle and all the the pennies that I have saved whilst we munch our way through it will have a rather nice time sitting in my bank account.
I have a few jobs to do today:
1. [STRIKE]Post the book I sold yesterday.[/STRIKE]
2. List at least two more things on eb@ay. I hate listing things on there. I used to sell my sons old clothes on faceb00k but I don't feel comfortable having strangers come to the house to pick things up or drop things off anymore. I still use fb to list my old teaching resources though.
3. [STRIKE]laundry[/STRIKE], polish and [STRIKE]sort the rubbish out[/STRIKE]
4. [STRIKE]work work[/STRIKE] but the list is never ending
5. [STRIKE]clean the windows.[/STRIKE] Have no idea why I am doing this as life with a toddler means that they will be full of handprints and kiss prints in next to no time! only did the ones downstairs
£30 of cashback cleared today which has been added to my savings account and to my signature. Happy days.

Back to work tomorrow - boo!!!!
My goals for the week:
- Spend as little as possible
- Plenty of early nights
- Make sure that I drink plenty of water during the day
- Think about tea before I need to cook it.
- Eb@y, eb@y, eb@y!
- Learn to say 'eff this for a game of soldiers' in my head when things get a tad too much at work and not feel guilty0 -
I have just sold ten of my son's old t-shirts on eb@y for £10.80. This is brill as I have two huge laundry bags of old clothes and I need to sort his drawers and wardrobe out as he has just gone through a growth spurt. I just need to post (when I have received the payment) and list some more.0

Just added £4.53 cashback from Sh0pitize to my signature. I love that app - dead easy to use
I have two bundles on eb@y and they both have bids on them. I will list a few more things in the week.
I am really annoyed with Student Loans as they are *still* garnishing my wages when I don't owe them a bean. They were meant to have put a stop on the repayments but it obviously hasn't work. I will give them a ring on Tuesday when I am working from home. Putting a positive spin on it, them having the money means that I can't spend it but I want it back and safely tucked away in my bank account. They owe me a little under £500. Grr!!!! The rotters.
