Very unhappy at work which has made me even more determined to declutter. I just don't see the point anymore in buying books and resources in order for me to do my job. If they can't provide it then why the heck should I?!
ETA had another book sale this evening. I am not in my OD, nothing has been added to my CC (despite daydreaming about a new bag - blo0dy hormones) and pay day is in 17 days. I can do this.0 -
Finally my week off work has arrived! I am absolute exhausted so it couldn't have come at a better time. Planning on having lots of NSDs, LSDs, eating from the cupboards and much needed rest. Still not touched my OD.0

I wish i was out of my overdraft, i have been living in it pretty much non stop since uni. I've been working on my credit card debt one month at a time, i look forward to hearing more from you.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

ThanksMy OD used to be £1000 and I was always at the limit. I asked my bank if they could reduce it by £50 a month which they did (thank gawd!) until it got to £500. This meant that the balance was always getting smaller without realising it. Now it is gone but I have to try really hard to stay out of it.

Today wasn't an NSD as we ran out of bread, eggs and cordial so I walked to the shop whilst my little one was sleeping. I am so glad that we are all off for a week. I am in dire need of a break from it all tbh.
I decluttered one room today and it felt really good to clear all of the tat from there. My OH will be making a tip run tomorrow. There are also some things to take to the charity shop.
I have Sh0p n scanned and written a review for B00ts P@nel Review as well. I have another three to write but will do those later in the week.
Payday is in eleven days. Still out of my OD. I can do this.0 -
Just dropping by to give you some encouragement to stay out of your overdraft. Can't say I always manage to stay out of ours but it's a great feeling when I do, so I know how empowering it can be just to know that ALL the money going into your account is yours. Last year, my overdraft cost me over £400 in interest. "Only" £8 a week, but I think of what that buys at Lidl (easily enough for a couple of meals) and am determined I won't be making the same donation to the bank this year.0

Thanks. I dread to think how much I have spent in charges over the years. I know that it would make for unpleasant reading! We live and learn

I have marked today up as an NSD despite the day not being over. We went for a walk this morning (far, far too cold out there!) and are having store cupboard meals for the rest of the day.
My savings account is £50 shy off £2000 so I have set myself the challenge of making the much needed £50 between now and payday (10 days away). I have listed a few books on the fb sales pages that I use but have had no takers as of yet. I have some DVDs that I no longer watch so I will see if they are worth anything on music m@gpie other than 30p.
Still not touched my OD. I have £20 in my spends account and £10 in my purse. All bills have been paid. I can do this.0 -
I have had to move some money around as my son had his hair cut today (it only cost a fiver) and mine is having a much needed trim tomorrow. I still haven't touched my OD and I get paid in seven days. I have had no takers for any of my old books on fb. It's the wrong time of year tbh - I made a couple hundred ££ during the summer holidays just gone and I am optimistic that I can achieve the same during next summer holidays.
7 payments and the BL will be gone. Decided to MS again but I can only do it on the days I don't pick my LO from nursery. I could have done a few this week as we are all off but we have all been poorly and are only just starting to feel better.0 -
Back to work tomorrow and I would be lying if I said that I am looking forward to it. I just need to remember that I am only in for four weeks and then I am off again. I also need to remember that payday is only four days away. I have listed and listed things to sell but I have only sold one thing. I know that my stuff will sell - it's just that it's the wrong time of year. As soon as the NQTs have been appointed then my stuff will go. I am feeling nothing but resentment for my job at the minute. I hate how I have to spend money on it in order for them to pay me. It's madness! Well, no more! All of my resources that I do not use or have barely used are going and I am not clinging on to them 'just because' either. I want a healthy bank balance for once in my adult life!
Needless to say, that I am not nipping out for my lunch either. And that applies to buying them before work as well lol.0
