So if this was what happened and she just leaves him to his fate then that isn't love, and maybe he'd be better off making up with his mum
You are aware that the OP is a real person, not some hypothetical situation that you're making up as you go along?
OP, your girlfriend needs to speak to SS about how you moving in will affect the support she receives and her (potential) tenancy.0 -
yes i was thinking of that but my gf is due to get housing so was thinking i could just move in with her but i just have to think what the best option for me is financially
Best options for now:
- find out how many hours you actually get paid for
- find out your actual gross pay
- ask your employer if you can increase hours
- look for 2nd job or full time work
- look at rental prices in your area
- speak to council for advice on housing
If you worked 30hrs per week, you'd earn £201 and get tax credits of £21 giving you an income of £222 per week/£962 per month.
From April you'd get a payrise to £216 per week and tax credits of £15 giving you an income of £231 per week/£1001 per month.0 -

op - you haven't indicated whether there's ANYTHING you ever really thought about doing/learning by choice. Did you just drift into your current work?CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

You don't join the Forces because your homeless.!.He would also be in the same homeless position come the end of February even if he took that route as he wouldn't be anywhere close to starting basic training..0 -
Bobby,
Ring your local council and ask for a housing options/ homeless prevention appointment. They will know the situation locally and may well know of some places you could rent privately0 -
if i could i would honestly me posting on here shows its the last resort.
I think what i will do is just get the letter from my mum and hand that over and until then look for private renting
But just wanted some advise on the best way i could go about it.
Depending on where you currently live, some areas have housing associations that have rooms in shared houses. A relative of mine was kicked out by her mother, and moved into one of these places within days.0
