    Feel a lot better today - I’ve picked at food all day and had a small tea. I just feel washed out and my arm is really sore as I haven’t taken any painkillers. Still feels like I've beeen kicked around the middle and my throat is tender after my performance. I hate being sick with a vengeance.
    I was hoping to go to work tomorrow but I went out in the car to get bread and to request a repeat prescription - I was glad to get in. So I’m having another day off tomorrow....if they don’t like it I’m afraid it’s tough....in fairness they’ve always been ok with me. I think I’ve built my full sickness entitlement up again and even if I’ve not I should have built enough for the 3 months they’ve told me I’ll have to have off with my arm.
    I’ve done a lot of doing nothing today - been watching cold feet on catch up. I’d forgotten how much I enjoy that series and it’s great as it’s filmed around here so I recognise lots of places. Still got a few to get through - so that’s some of tomorrow and following day after work sorted :D I know how to live:rotfl::rotfl:

    I got the distinct feeling work aren’t impressed that I’ve stayed off today but I just feel yuk. Just really washed out and down and although I’m eating and haven’t been sick since Monday - I can’t shake it off. I’ll go in tomorrow, give myself a boot up the behind and get back to normal :D
    A NSD today :money::T
    Cold feet has had me close to tears - love it 😊

    It's funny but after we offload all the negatives we feel we need to find some positives, nothing wrong with that :)

    As Beanie says, some great positives there xx

    I’ve been really shattered after work. My throat has been so sore since I was sick - I think I must have strained it.
    Yesterday we’d arranged to visit someone dh knows with a garden railway in a town across the Pennines from us. So we drove over - it’s just over an hours journey (when we arranged it the forecast looked ok) We drove through wind, snow, hail and sunshine — lol what a journey. But we spent a lovely couple of hours there in his conservatory looking at his garden, getting ideas and generally putting the world to rights. We even got into the garden too in between showers- he has made some amazing miniature buildings and we will probably order a train station from him.

    From there we headed to a shopping mall nearby. Lol the first shop we saw was a cruise shop.......it got us talking and thinking ‘special holiday’ - I think we have decided it will be a cruise somewhere. However we still can’t do much about it until I come home from hospital. Anyway after that I mooched around for an hour or so generally looking at clothes - the prices of some were ridiculous but I found a lovely shop selling nice dresses that would be suitable for such a holiday (I think) - I tried one on and it was £32 - nicer than some that were £200+. But it looked hideous on me. Yet another kick up the behind to get me watching what I eat. Dh treated us to a Thai buffet - I was really good and what I chose was as good as I could do SW wise so I was pleased..... If we do go on a cruise it’s a bit scary as I’m more used to caravan holidays :o

    We called at big Mr T near home to do some shopping on the way home, I was exhausted and I was in bed before 9 o clock and didn’t get up until midday today. So £40 spent on food for the week - nothing spent at shopping mall :money:

    I lost 1 1/2lb yesterday - 3 losses in a row :beer:

    Whilst I was off work last week some things had kicked off between other staff (I miss all the fun:rotfl:) and I was asked if I will change the area I work to accommodate this and clear the air between certain individuals. I jumped at the chance as where I’m working now is lovely, calm and BORING. So I’m back with a child who can be a real challenge and we have to be one step ahead. But it’s fun and there is never a dull moment - I used to work with this child before I was off last year so we have history and boundaries already in place. Lol the powers that be are expecting me to do wonders before I go off again. I love the challenge of working in this class and I only changed because occy health suggested it..... but I’ve proved I’m ok back at work...so I can’t wait to get into work on Monday :D
