It’s probably me at this end. It doesn’t look as if it’s been sent. I’ll try again later.

Paspatur I’ve sent another pm....hopefully it’ll reach you this time.
Yesterday turned out to be a lovely day. I tidied up and watched a bit of catch-up tv whilst crocheting then went for a swim. I did 4 lengths again..felt like 4 miles 😲.I know it’s not a lot but baby steps and all that. I’d put a chicken in the slow cooker so it was a nice easy tea when I came home.
Today I’ll move a bit of soil and potter around the garden as the sun is shining ☀️ This afternoon I have an appointment with the consultant from the arm hospital. There’s not much else he can do as X-rays and blood tests are all ok and he suggested one more more surgery which may or may not make a difference.....so the answer to that will be a definite NO. I’m expecting a yearly appointment or maybe they’ll discharge me.......

The appointment went well SSG. I spoke to the professor who did the op and he is a real gentleman - the upshot is what I expected. My arm is as good as it’s going to get. There is an op that might or might not work but could make things worse.....so guess what.... I’m leaving things exactly as they are. I’ve got another appointment in a years time - he wants to keep me on the books so I have access should I need it.
I've been for a swim and jacuzzi this morning which was lovely. I managed an extra 2 lengths too 😀. I’ve booked a swim followed by tai chi next Monday......I’m a little nervous because I’d got to this stage once before and had the stress fracture in the ball of my hip...🤞it doesn’t happen again. I’m keeping it to a couple of sessions a week and going very slowly just in case.
There is a lovely cafe attached to the gym so I found myself sitting in there. I had a delicious omelette and cup of tea and a sneaky home made lime cheesecake found it’s way to my table too. I really enjoyed my treat but must reign it in.....at least I get 25% off all the food and drink there.

Swim and jacuzzi sound great. Hopefully your hip won’t be set off again. Don’t blame you for not wanting the op on your arm. I like the sound of that lime cheesecake 😋

Lime cheesecake was indeed lush.....not sure about SW friendly though 😏
So yesterday was spent bagging more soil......I’ve bagged 20 bags altogether  now 😳 - all with a trowel half hour stints - in between I was phoning paving / fencing folk as the builders down the road hadn’t come up trumps with the quote they’d promised. I’m currently waited for somebody to come around before 12 and got another couple coming around tomorrow and blow me the builders from down the road have just given me a quote. It’s expensive but not as bad as imagined.......a bit like buses.....nothing turns up then 4 at once 🤞
Can’t believe we’re in the latter part of May already. I’m off to see dd for 6 nights at the beginning of June......providing there’s no travel restrictions or new lockdowns by then. I’m half way through crocheting cardigans.....I’d better get a wriggle on - can’t give one gdd one without the other 😏
