Lol not sure why, but this afternoon we’ve been looking at folding 3 wheel bikes 😂😂😂 I bought a 2 wheeler years ago and have done about 6 miles max on it. Ds uses it if he goes out in the car for a ride as it folds.......anyway such a thing as an electric, folding 3 wheeler exists .......who knew 🤔😂😂😂😂😂 Don’t think I’ll be getting one any time soon though at the prices 😲😲 Gave us half an hours entertainment watching them being folded into a cube.....hoping dh doesn’t get any ideas of long bike rides for the motorhome 😲😲😲😲 I’d be happy to ride a mile or so but he doesn’t have a stop button and would want to do miles and miles ......
We’ve just walked around to go outdoors and bought a couple of fold up chairs for the motorhome whilst they’re on offer. When I think of all the things we just let go in the caravan a few years ago - luckily we saved quite a bit 😀
I've bagged another couple of bags of soil and dh has put the bushes in neighbours bins 👍January spends - £587.582 -
We ended ended up going to the garden centre on the spur of the minute to get a tray to plant some plants in so that it can be moved when dh has a train day......he has a tiny train on the same sized tray which he’ll just swap over on the day his train friends come around.....well that’s the theory. Whilst there I saw a gadget which is basically a massive bucket on wheels with a handle. It’ll be great for moving some of the soil into the back garden to fill up some beds so I don’t necessarily have to wait for dh - I can move it half full on wheels I think.
The sun came out and it was a beautiful evening so we stopped on our way home and did a lovely half hours walk along a little babbling river called Happy Valley. It looks such a gentle meandering river but was a torrent a few months ago when we had the floods. So my plans of a sw friendly tea of paprika chicken went by the wayside and fish, a few chips and mushy peas was muchly enjoyed instead 😊 That’s my trouble too spontaneous and I’m not passing any opportunity to do nice things as you never know what’s around the corner to stop you 😋 Live for the minute 👍January spends - £587.582 -
You can’t ever be to spontaneous sounds like a lovely day good for you pleased you enjoyed it2

So I ended up in Hobbycraft and bought an assortment of balls of wool to make pretty crocheted flowers with.......my list of projects is getting longer by the minute 😂😂😂 The crochet flower book I bought last week has a lot to answer to 😳.....so £9 spent but many hours of pleasure and a lot of flowers can be made with it 😀
We were talking about getting a camping table yesterday for the van - I have decided that it can go in the spare room the girls use when they stay for my card making.....and in the van when the girls visit. I used to have the back bedroom for my crafts but swapped rooms with dh...can’t remember why......the upshot is I have to carry my craft things down so don’t often bother. Anyway we went to the shop advertising a table that looks strong and the right size at £15 but they didn’t have any in stock. Apparently they’re stuck at sea on a boat somewhere.😲😲 It’s only around the corner so I can keep walking around to check if they have them.
I took the home made flower pot and card to my friend - she was over the moon with them - we had a laugh at the idea of a cheapskate pressie....it looked as good if not better than any shop bought one and hopefully will come up year after year 👍
I went to Specsavers about my hearing aids - by the time I got there and had worn them about 4 hours.....my ear was bleeding and red raw inside. The outcome is I've not to wear it for 2 weeks and go back. I made it very clear I wasn’t happy. I am going to follow it up with a letter of complaint to the manager. I asked about the domed ear pieces I used to wear. She is going to fit them next time - tried to tell me my hearing had deteriorated and I need the moulded pieces.....but I could hear perfectly well and the only reason I went back was one aid had broken. I am not amused.....it was a trainee but a qualified practitioner was checking everything. I’m more annoyed as I kept telling them it wasn’t right and they kept saying I’d get used to it.......I’ve worn aids since 2006 so know how they should feel 😡😡😡😡January spends - £587.582 -
Blimey, that's dire.
No way should that happen.

Hope you get your hearing aids sorted it sounds awful. Our nearest Hobbycraft is too far away for me to get to which is probably a good thing because I would be bankrupt 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941
