Dh had planned on taking some more of the hedge out when he came home from work tonight and fill the neighbours bins before they’re emptied tomorrow. He came in just after 6 - the torrential rain stated just before 6 and has only just stopped.....it’s too wet to do anything out there now...so will wait for another day

I hate when they do that.
Like we have nothing else to do.
At least your GP has finally done the report!!

I’ve been trying to get through to the hospital all morning about the lack of phone call yesterday....when I did get through at least they didn’t try to cover it up but the secretary admitted nobody tried to call and she didn’t know why - she would get on to the pharmacist who should have phoned and get them on the case ASAP. I expected them to try blaming me for not answering the phone.....
I need to walk to GP and pick the report up so I can have a look at it before it’s sent to occupational health, i might go for a walk to the place with the pond in the hope of seeing another Kingfisher. I haven’t walked there for a while so think that’s my plan.
I want to crochet a flower for a birthday card and do some more shifting soil into bags. But first I’m having a cup of tea 😃

The pharmacist phoned full of apologies as the appointment dept apparently put my name on a non existent clinic🤔🤔🤔 Anyway she chatted for a while.....moaned about the appointment department in a fun way saying she wondered how many more calls they’d get......asked me to get a dental checkup before I have the infusion. All the blood tests were ok so once I get the all clear from the dentist it’s all systems go.
I went for a lovely walk and had a cup of tea watching the ducks on the pond where I used to walk. It was a lot quieter now people can travel further afield.
I looked at the report the GP has done....I look a right old crock when it’s all written down 😂😂😂 I asked her to include one more thing that hadn’t been mentioned. Anyway she has recommended early retirement- so watch this space 🤞👍

I’ve just completed making a birthday card for my friend....why haven’t I thought of doing crochet embellishments before. Guess what folk are having this year for their birthdays. It will save me a fortune 👍 and use up some of my stash. I feel another project coming on 😂😂
Dh has changed energy providers this morning so a saving there too.
Todays plan is potter in the garden for a while then go out for a walk...not sure where to yet.
