Got to admit twas a rather nice tea. I bought a full salmon and portioned and froze it just before Christmas. It worked out about 70p a portion if I remember rightly 😁 Just finishing off with a kitkat and cuppa. Dh is watching a railway programme so I’m going back upstairs to sort a bit more and will find something a little more entertaining whilst I’m up there 😂😂😂January spends - £587.582

Lol I know it’s a totally different league OBL but the little toy doll’s house I’ve just been gifted for the gks has wooden furniture and I plan to paint the furniture and make bedding for the house. It’s on my list ‘to do’......which is growing by the minute 😉 I’m going to be gutted if I don’t get this retirement.
Ive done a little more sorting and phoned my friend to see if she wanted any tops which are of no use to me. She has been and collected them and taken a few other bits too so it’s already looking better upstairs......still got a way to go but by next week I should have it tidy again😁 Next I need the plasterer to shape himself and plaster the ceiling of the bay window and get my painter friend back, it will only need painting. We will sleep in the back bedroom whilst it’s done....at least I’ll have sorted the cupboard spaces in our room too . Finally feel as if I’m getting there. The end is in sight.January spends - £587.582 -

Hooray I have sorted most of my bedroom today with a bit of help from dh. Still need to go through his wardrobe. It looks so big after having had various things stored in it since we started the building work in September but it was completely chocca with stuff this last couple of weeks whilst we’ve been doing the spare bedrooms. Literally a path to the bed 😂😂😂 The front bedroom just needs the curtains putting up and a mirror frame painting....oh and bunting making. Dh needs to put the old tv on the wall in the back bedroom and an old table needs taking downstairs to be painted in outside paint on which my mini greenhouse will stand on it eventually 😀January spends - £587.582

Well done on sorting out the bedroom 👏. It's lovely to get organised.
Your new mini greenhouse sounds good. I've often fancied having an orange tree or olive tree, but they wouldn't survive outdoors. What will you grow in your greenhouse? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
