Some toys have been put back in the front bedroom and the bathroom has been cleaned. It wasn’t actually as bad as I thought. All the teddies have been in the washer and drier and sitting on various radiators around the house 😂😂 I don’t want to pack them on their shelf damp or they’ll go mouldy. There’s still a fair bit to go back in there but it’s the fiddly bits.....I’m pooped today now though. I’ve still not got half the stamina I had and it’s driving me mad.January spends - £587.581

Thanks both of you - I have taken loads of rests and a lot of the time I was sitting on the bed just sorting through boxes. I watched Doctors - my guilty pleasure 😉and a play on tv over dinner with Les Dennis in. He was a gent of a maturing age whose daughter was worried about his poor state of health and bought him a personal trainer for a while. It really made me smile as I could relate it to someone close to me 😂😂😂 I do like Les Dennis.
Tea was just reheating last nights stew so nothing too strenuous there either and dh has washed up. So honestly I’m not doing a lot.....I am looking after myself. I’d have done all the room in one day previously- I do think I’ve made the right decision re the retirement as I’m totally wiped out.
My big dilemma - dh bought me a series of magazines for a birthday present....maybe 20 years ago. How to make a dolls house. By the time I’d got all the magazines I’d worked out he could have bought me a fancy dolls house and furnished it 😳😳 at the time. (But there was no way we could have afforded one.....the magazines were fortnightly or monthly - I can’t remember- not cash in one go) Anyway I never made it as it’s very big. I still have all the pieces and magazines.....I haven’t a clue where I’d put it if I ever made it......but dh was so pleased he’d bought it for me and will occasionally say how I will enjoy doing it 🤔😳 Ideally I’d like to get rid of it....but think it would upset him if I did. I do love adult dolls houses and have collected quite a few bits over the years to go into it. What do I do? It has fit back into the room ok but all I do is dust it every time I clean the room - do I keep it to keep him happy or risk upsetting him by getting rid?January spends - £587.582 -
Glad you took it easier today. I bumped into Les Dennis in a bar many years ago when he was appearing in the theatre in my city centre. He was really nice.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

That's a difficult one on the doll's house but if you are realistically never do anything with it then it really is time to get rid.
Would your DD have room for it to keep it for when your grand kids are bigger?I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. The new series of Moving On is fab.
The one on Monday about the man with a secret family was good & the one yesterday about the young man getting married whose father came back from the dead was good too.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Dd wouldn’t have room - she has a big house but she keeps it very minimal 😂😂😂 some of her her junk is still here but not for much longer. The gks other grandad has built them a gorgeous big dolls house that I’d have died for when I was younger.
Think I’ve decided I’ll keep it for now as it fits in its storage area but should I ever need the space it will have to go.
The contents of the bottom of my wardrobe is sprawled all over my bedroom floor. I’m being really ruthless and getting rid of shoes that have barely been used.....twice worn at the most ......and I paid a lot for most of them. 😲 I need to sort in there as I’m shuffling some things around.January spends - £587.581 -
I love dolls houses and have one DD 2 bought me that I have built and decorated, it's in my bedroom at the moment but will be coming downstairs when DD moves out and takes her bureau with her because that's in the space where I want to put it 😊 I love the idea of the magazine and if it was me I would build it,it's such a lovely hobby 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941
