I googled a while ago about clothes on the stoma help sites and that’s where I got the maternity trouser idea. A twenty something girl was wearing them with a tunic style top and she looked lovely- you would never have known. I just prefer going into a shop to try things on - which is difficult atm. I’m in a rut clothes wise anyway - even before this. I’d planned on getting a personal shopper in Debenhams to help me decide what my style might be - that won’t be happening now.....that was going to be my treat when I got to target weight. I can’t seem to translate what I see on line on models to me wearing them..... it’ll be my 2021 mission 😂👍 I like a challenge 😂😂😂
Right I need to get my behind into gear and do a general tidy around. Most places except spare bedrooms have had a deep clean since we got rid of the builders - won’t take me long if I get off here.

So housework is all done. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a tidy house....ok spare rooms and utility room still have a few things with no permanent home. But that’ll wait until after Christmas. I’ve shut the door on them 😂😂 All the liveable rooms are sparkling
Dh is off tomorrow. I want to make some mince pies in the morning and take the legs off the turkey then bone and stuff them, then I’ll hand the kitchen over to dh and he is going to make a curry for when ds comes around. We’re in a bubble so it’s all ok.
I’m just sitting and having a cuppa and doing some knitting before dh comes home for his Christmas break....my last peaceful hour 😂😂😂😂
So if I don’t get chance to get on here tomorrow- have a lovely Christmas everyone. It’ll be a different one, but I hope it’s as good as it can be for you all🎄⛄️🎅🏻🎄⛄️🎅🏻

Happy Christmas everyone. Turkey and mince pies are sorted. Ds has been around and we’ve had a Christmas quiz with dd and family and son in law’s mum. We were spread around the country....technology is wonderful as long as I don’t have to work it 😂😂 His sister didn’t join in as she had to take  beloved horse for his final journey to the vet yesterday and she is heartbroken. He was a beauty - and I’m not in the slightest bit horsey. He was very gentle with the gks....they don’t know yet and will be upset.
I didn’t sleep last night. I ended up winding myself up over something and nothing which I’d got totally out of perspective and when I thought about it in the broad light of day I wondered why 🤔🤔
So tomorrow we will take they turkey and trimming to ds , he already has the veg and we will aim for a relaxed day. We  will message the gks a couple of times. I was a tad upset when I saw all the presents we’d bought for dd, son in law and gks still under my tree. Mind you even if we could travel we’d be caught up in all the lorries in Kent. I really feel for them stuck in their trucks.....but then if we could travel there’d be no virus and the borders would be open.
lol I’m rambling after a couple of Baileys....Merry Christmas 🎄⛄️🎅🏻🎄⛄️🎅🏻

  • Merry Christmas Milann and don't worry about the presents under the tree. You can have a delayed Christmas with all your family once things are better. Hope you and DH and DS have a nice day anyway and you see the GK on FaceTime or WhatsApp or whatever. We have a zoom Meet up with my mum and brother and sister this afternoon but at least we have our DDs, SIL and DGDs.

What a shame about the horse.

That’s sad about the horse, they’re such loyal animals. You’ll have to have a delayed Christmas at some stage. Have a lovely day today. Merry Christmas x 🥳🎄
