  • I wish I knew what was going to happen next September. Staff at my school are starting to think that ALL the children may be back in classes of 30 in September 😱. But who knows 🤔.

I thought I’d posted earlier but it’s not here. If I’ve posted it on a different diary - I’m sorry 🤔☺️
I’ve had a lovely day at work today. I made a display of the children’s art which I always love doing. Attended a couple of zoom style meetings with some of the children who aren’t in school that I usually work with. Then it was a 12.15 finish for a deep clean of the school 😀😀😀 I was glad of wet playtime so I could sit and watch tv with the children instead of walking around our section of the playground with my sore toe.
Myself and dh visited a garden centre this afternoon- saw the queue and didn’t bother going any further....we went to the aquatic shop and dh got a few fish for his tank and some stones to complete my Miniature Japanese garden. I might get it finished this weekend.

I’ve finished my Japanese garden but need to dig a hole and put it in situ. I’m not sure where weekend went. I did a big clean up on Saturday and went shopping to Morrison’s......£50 again but I’m well stocked up should we need to suddenly isolate for 2 weeks. We went to see ds on Sunday...our protective bubble 👍 he made a lovely risotto for us to have for Fathers Day tea. We had a walk along the canal near to his house. All pretty boring, normal stuff but it was nice to do ‘normal’
A good day SW wise....really need to keep this up. It’s all or nothing and been more nothing than all of late.
We spoke to dd and are trying go work out a plan so that we can get together over the summer holidays.....not sure if it’ll work out.....wish she was close enough for a day visit.

    So called normal is good.
Hope you can sort something out with your DD  :)
    When do you break up?
Ours would have been next week.

We break up 24th July....can’t come soon enough for me......I’m dreading going back to whatever we’re going into as it’s beautifully calm atm 👍It’ll be a shock to the system and will feel very crowded 😳 We find out which children we will be working with next week. The rest of the school found out where they are today....not sure what the delay telling us is.....some folk are going mad because they haven’t been told....I’m not wasting my energy getting wound up about it 🤔😂 It’ll be what it’ll be.....
A low spend week this week so far - just £3.50 since Saturday. I forgot sweet corn at weekend so nipped in for some this evening and bought Cornettos whilst in there - I walked straight in and out - everyone must be out enjoying the sunshine ☀️I’ll go out into the garden later as it’s too hot for me now.
Not much else to report - paid my cc in full and life’s ticking along very boringly.....

    I agree - I’ll take boring 👍
Work has been a little more interesting today the teacher I’m with has decided to start getting things ready for the new class he’ll be having come September - so I’ve been busy getting things done for him. I can happily pass my time doing this for the next few weeks.
The highlight of my evening yesterday was bleaching my wheelie bins and hosing them down. Two were emptied yesterday and were a tad smelly - they’re only emptying the compost one every 2 weeks instead of 1 for now.  It’s usually one of my big summer holiday jobs but it’s a couple of years since I did them as I couldn’t manage them with my arm. They smell much sweeter now - I know how to live the good life 😂😂
We have been trying to decide how to cover an uneven part of the garden. The first thought was decking but dh has decided to extend some flags we have there instead. True to plan we can’t get flags - just normal 600mm pacing flags- nothing fancy as they need to match what we have already....can we find any - can we heck 😡  We’ll just have to keep popping into B&Q until we get some.

No Beanie -  not seen them about much since folk can get out and about again.....I’m sure he’ll do it.. It’s only small sections of about 18 inches - 2 foot. They’re not particularly noticeable either but would be good to get it completely finished.
