I had my early night and went to bed to watch the thing about the Salisbury poisonings- I don’t think I made it to the first break. I woke when it went light at about 4.30 and just lay chilling - at 6.30 I decided to get up before the alarm woke dh up. I toddled into the bathroom half asleep took my Fitbit off as the bath was running...did a double take at the time as I was beginning to wake up...it was only 5.30 NOT 6.30. So I turned the bath off and went back to bed. I didn’t sleep but lay chilling.....and got up at 6.30 😂😂😂 in my best Queen Victoria impression- I was not amused 🙄🙄
I missed my sister-in-laws birthday yesterday - I’m the world worst and she is always on time. I phoned her and half arranged to do a garden visit this evening....but it’s been horrendously showery today - thunder, lightning and torrential rain, so I’ll go on the first dry evening and take her some flowers.
Another NSD. Spent way too much at weekend though.....I’m spending far too much on food. I think because I’m shopping for a relative, I’m going out shopping when I wouldn’t normally bother. Plus if I see something in stock I’m buying it because things go out of stock so quickly. I’m arguing with myself in my head.....do I need it? what if I need to isolate for 2 weeks? what if it goes out of stock?.......the end result - it ends up in my basket 🤔😳🙄 Need to sort this out......January spends - £587.581 -
I'm spending more on food too for a similar reason as I want to keep food levels high. Food prices have gone up too. But at least we're spending less on other things like coffees out, petrol, etc. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hi Milan just delurkin g after having caught up on your diary? Did you get the end fence panels finished? We go halves with our neighbour too and really need to replace the 4 front ones this year! I am also like SG2 AND TRY to guess where you have been. I am over the border on the white rose side but I think my youngest brother must live fairly close to you! I was trying to guess if you went to F or C when you went to the seaside 😂. My youngest is back in school but my oldest isn't and he is desperately missing his friends too xx2

BB50 we went to C and drove along the front to StA.
I’m still waiting for next door to do the small end panels - he is back at work now so I’m not sure when it’ll be. I wish we’d done it, but he was insistent and he is into carpentry in a big way - he’s made all sorts of furniture and has all the right tools so in theory should have had them done in half the time of dh.....it’ll get done. Neither has he done the plans for the kitchen which he’d offered to do. Again it’ll happen and if it doesn’t whoever we get to do the kitchen will do one.
I’ve got a lovely purple toe again. I stubbed it slightly this morning- not even hard. I heard it crack. So I think it’s broken as I couldn’t get a shoe on so even though it has rained non stop all day I’ve been in sandals 🙄
This week has passed very quickly and it’s a half day again tomorrow. I’m hoping we’ll break up as usual towards the end of next month but I’m not sure what the plan for school is? Could be interesting to say the least 🤔
