Sunshine - 2 half days then full time from Wednesday. Not sure what’ll happen when he goes home from hospital - if I need to I’ll stay off - it is what it is.
The difference from yesterday to today in him is amazing- first 48 hours are always the worse. Still a way to go but it’s going in the right direction :o
In MSE news I’ve found a savings account I’m thinking of opening. Virgin money seem to pay 2% on an e-saver. Just going to do a bit of research.

  • I hope your relative feels better soon. Well done on the weight loss and walk.

It’s been a tough week. I’m meeting myself coming back. I’ve been down at relatives who was sent home from hospital on Tuesday. As well as 5 fractures in his femur has had erratic blood sugars, which has been quite scary - no previous history - they suspect it’s linked to the shock and are hoping it’s a temporary measure. So it’s been at least 10 most nights when I’ve come home - he wouldn’t hear of us staying over to help him out. I’ve been working virtually full time too and return to my proper hours on Monday - which I could do without atm. Dd and her family came home today and we all visited him together and had a meal with him but we were all a bit anxious in case the children bumped him accidentally.
My hospital appointment for the scan results has been brought forward but only by a day - it could just be the consultant wants and early finish as it was changed from 5pm to midday previous day. I’m trying not to read too much into it..... So at least I’m hoping it’ll be a load off my mind a day earlier than I expected.
So that’s about my lot. I’ve spent a fair bit - shopping for relatives food as well as ours - but it is what it is.
Night night - I suspect the gks will have me up at the crack of dawn tomorrow. I’ll get around diaries tomorrow evening all being well.
    January spends - £587.58
  • It’s been tough but you’re still here and still being positive. Well done you. Enjoy your time with the gks
