I met my targets last week - short term targets are the way to go for me I think.
This week I plan to -
- stay calm and focused waiting for scan results - no over active imagination
- try a new recipe
- no weight gain
- use gym twice
- visit Santander for bank account shuffle
- knit instead of using I pad as muchJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Well done
It is better to break down your goals into short term ones, that way they're not so daunting. That's what I do, one week at a time. Stay focused.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
The chicken was absolutely delicious- I used korma paste as I don’t like hot spice and rubbed it on the chicken. Started cooking chicken then chopped potato, pepper, cauliflower, some frozen butternut squash, onion, courgette - threw it all back in the oven and the juices flavoured the veg. Yum yum yum. So easy too. I made stock from the bones and leftover juice - threw it in the soup maker with leek, potatoes, carrots and onion so I’ve got soup for a few days. I’m feeling quite organised.
I hope I sleep better tonight - I came down before 5 on Friday morning after tossing and turning from before 4 am.....I thought I might have nodded off watching catch up tv but I didn’t. I stayed in bed over the weekend but think I woke every half hour  I think I might be like this until I get the result - I don’t do waiting well....I’ll be able to manage once I know what is going on but I’m not good waiting at all.January spends - £587.580 -
Morning milann
Will have to try that recipe on Mr SA, do you think it would work with a chicken portion as no point doing a full chicken. I don't eat meat and DD doesn't do spices so it would just be for him.
I'm like you with being no good at waiting. I like to know what's what so I can make plans accordingly, roll my sleeves up and tackle it. Hopefully it will be what you think it is.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
It should work just as well with a portion of chicken SA.
I went for the scan today. Injection and 1st part of scan at 10 followed by full body scan at 1 pm. Whatever they think they’ve seen- I can't fault them as they’ve taken it seriously. I go for the results on 4th Feb......and relax
I had a lovely evening meeting a MSE friend at big shopping mall after work yesterday...very MSE too using a half price voucher for the main course.
I’ve had a bit of a lazy day in between dashing back and forth to the hospital- catch up tv has been my lot.January spends - £587.580 -
Hi Milann
Just checking in to make sure that the scan went ahead OK today and now it's just a matter of waiting for the results. I've never had a scan, but I assume they don't give you any indication of what they're seeing as they do it?

No Happy they have a good poker face and don’t give much away. He was a lovely chap though and got into my vein 1st time which is always a bonus. It’s bruised but I’ve had much worse. Got to say I’ve had more than my fair share of scans over the years....January spends - £587.580
