Just been to see Fisherman’s Friends - loved it - now I want to be in Cornwall
:D
I bought some geraniums and some blue lobelia ready for my tubs - just need some allysum to go with them and some more compost to top pots up....oh and some nice weather with no frost at night. £50 spent this weekend after our night out on Saturday and plants today - dh paid for pictures
Car insurance is due on 11th so I need to do that in the next day or too. That’ll be in next months credit card bill though so all being well I can pay it in full - unheard of in the past. My new cc month starts tomorrow so I can keep the spends down to make up for £400 on the insurance- that’s the plan anyway :TJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Your tubs will look nice.
It sounds like a good plan.

Phoned the hospital this morning and I’ve finally got a date......10th June. It’s further away than I’d have liked but at least I know.
I’ve got to have another pre op as my other has run out. Surgeon has had a lot of annual leave and that’s what the hold up has been . He’s human and needs holidays so at least he should be relaxed when he gets around to me.January spends - £587.580 -
Good news on the date even if it is further way than you would like.

Well at least you've got a definite date now so that's good
. What does the operation involve? Will it relieve most of the problems with your arm?

HH - I broke my elbow last year HH. I had surgery last year. As it healed it’s messed the rest of my arm up so they’ve got to sort it again - I’ve got to travel to a hospital an hours drive away which specialises in orthopaedics and there’s only a particular professor who performs it. Which is why it’s been such a long process. He’s still not sure if he can do it in one hit or if I’ve got to go in again  I know I’ll be off work at least 3 months.....January spends - £587.580

So I’ve got 2 weeks and a day in work then we break up for the Whit holidays and that’ll be my lot until I go and get sorted out and am fighting fit again.
It’s been a funny few days as I’ve been working in a different class as the classes I usually work in have been at Hadrians Wall for 3 days. I was a bit gutted I didn’t go but it’s been so cold I’m not really sorry now as it’s a tad exposed up there and I suspect they will have got rather soggy. They will be back tomorrow so normality will return - whatever that might be.
I’ve paid my car insurance and got a new breakdown cover - I’m quite impressed as it covers both of us in whichever car we are driving and is only £5 dearer that my previous one which just covered me.
Dh has cooked tea as he’s been home all day. It is lovely but feels a tad strange. It’s been rubbish weather again so he’s not been able to start the jobs he wants to do.January spends - £587.580 -

It may be a blessing in disguise that you couldn't go to Hadrian's Wall
. This is a really short half term isn't it?
You'll be glad to get your arm sorted out and hopefully that will sort it out longer term. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
