Got a full cash refund today from Aldi for the poor quality lamb i bought last week. No problems at all. It was a different store too and they did it at the checkout for me.

Tried Aldi's Cremant du Jura while at a friends house at the weekend. Was really nice its fizz made by the champagne method. Was very nice and since bought some myself. Would recommend!

    I love that stuff.:D

This product sounds so tempting, but are they efficient to run?

Both the Lidl and Aldi regular throws (usually sold at £8.99) do a good enough job, I always feel reluctant to give electric blankets a go for fear of waking up dead :o

120 watt - around 2p an hour to run.

Seems to be identical to this one on Amazon (very well reviewed) at £39.95 + £2.95 postage:

Thanks to those who tipped this as a good buy. :)

Aldi appear to have changed the dog food, as it is now giving my dog stomach issues. Both jelly and gravy are now UK made but have different ingredients.

Also the hypo-allergenic dry food smells different and again is causing him upset. Rather annoying since it was good food before.

Lots of products getting subtle changes when they have a packaging rebrand at the moment. The Jelly Babies, Fruit Pastilles and Wine Gums are now terrible.

Fajita kit has changed too and this is worse.

Lidl has small pumpkins for sale at 59p this week. I have no idea whether they are edible, but I shall enjoy turning one into a Jack O' Lantern with my niece.

I have bought carving pumpkins in the past and used them for cooking. It was ok as made soup and made a beef and pumpkin casserole in the slow cooker. Mum made pumpkin muffins and bread

Received the Aldi dehumidifier this week it works very well and removes lots of moisture from the air but boy is it noisy.
