I just love the paleo Macademia and Coconut from Aldi! That date taste. Not sure if it isn't better value to get 907 grammes of actual Medjool dates from Costco, mind!

I also really like those bars. I make my own fruit and nut bars, but buy just regular dates as they are cheaper. (I remove the pits before making the bars.)

I got the Nespresso compatible coffee pods from ALDI yest, n they take forever to pour compared to the usual pods. Still taste fab though 😁

I find giving the pod a good tap with the back of a spoon before putting in the machine helps.

I hear Aldi has brought out G&T flavoured miNce tarts this year. Am interested in verdicts (bearing in mind that the G&T flavoured crisps last year were truly awful).

Today i have found the first item from Aldi that has disappointed me. I bought 3 packs of lamb leg steaks, over £9 in total, when i opened them, they all looked perfectly lean on top. Turning them over, 3 of them were just skin with a thin layer of meat. the other 3 underneath were full of fat, it was difficult to get a decent amount of lean meat from them. (i was making Lamb hotpot so needed to cube them)

Very sneaky of Aldi to package them that way, i won't buy lamb there again, i'll stick to the butchers. I'm going to message them via Facebook to complain.

Could be just a bad pack you've picked up. As all their meat including lamb is sensational.

BTW Aldi are really good if you mention next time in store (don't need to return the meat item) and they fill out a quick form and you get free replacement. Once got a large chicken, got it home and it was off (must of had a small hole in packaging) - 20-25 mins drive away so just waited to following week - mentioned what happened and got replacement.
    PK! :money:

It happens with pork chops too the worst ones that if you saw you wouldn't buy them are hidden under the label every time.
