LPS threaten me to tow my car away?

Because I lived here all my life so I have the rights to park here.
How it would give me the legal fight against them? example: solicitors, court, tow a car...etc0 -
You take to court saying they should not have towed your car, they make claims it was abandoned or whatever and it gets decided who was right or wrong.
Whats the car worth? why is it parked there? non runner?
You have the rights to park there? Do you have a lease stating that or deeds?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Just because you have parked there for many years wont give you the right to park there forever if its someone elses land.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

@chris0147 I think you may have missed the point here. The question is not whether you have a right to park but whether you are prepared to enter into a long and inevitably costly legal battle to get your car back should LPS take it. The sensible thing to do here is to protect your property by moving it and seeking to clarify what rights - if any - you have. LPS want you to park there so they can sell your car - rightly or wrongly.
Few people would believe that there was no point in closing all the windows and locking up their house while they went to work because the law - by way of the offence of burglary - would protect it it their absence.
It may be that LPS has no right whatsoever to remove your car and sell it but what are you going to do if they do tow it? Getting an emergency injunction to stop LPS retaining it and/or selling isn't cheap and nor is it that swift. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
I do not think that the OP realises just how much litigation can cost. How much is the car worth anyway? I get the impression it is a non runner. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

What's the significance of the DCH Motor Co dealer plate on the vehicle ? Is the vehicle your own personal car, or on that is part of dealer stock being offered for sale, but stored offsite ?
A quick Google shows DCH to have a forecourt in Warrington.
Could you clarify please as there are different rules when offering vehicles for sale from public highways0 -
Lots of cars have stickers in the rear window from some no name stealer that sold them in the past.0

Theres fuzzy talk about a committee and everything else appears to be going round in circles.
Who owns the land? and what rights or permissions does the OP have to park there? and what is this committee?
I get the feeling that that there may be some animosity between this unknown committee and the OP.From the Plain Language Commission:

Please correct if wrong.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
