Try a hard reset before performing a firmware update. i.e. not just switching off and on again, press the reset button as instructed in the manual.

I cant go to that address though to upgrade it as I dont have anything to click on as in the uploaded image in the thread earlier.

I did try the hard reset and changing the security settings they were on medium high but I changed them to medium at the bottom tried the page and it was still the same so I put it back to medium high. I also switched the router off all night and rebooted it this morning as it gets so hot I didnt like leaving it on so its not that either.

Are you sure that you pressed the reset button for long enough? e.g some need to be pressed for 15-20 seconds.
