  • It sounds like mobiles.co.uk is going down the pan!

It used to be a reliable company at one point, but their service has been deteriorating tremendously over the past year (or so).

I have issues with them regarding a cashback deal I got. I am still waiting on a cashback for over a year now! Everytime I call them they fob me off with one lie or anbother.

My advice (for what its worth) would be to avoid them!

That is down to you. You haven't followed the groundrules.
  • @mobilejunkie Your company's "groundrules" require that I should submit a telco bill within 60 days of the cashback due date via your website, which I did, after 10 days of the due date to be precise. Also, I pay the telco by DD so have no unpaid balance with them.

SO, tell me, what makes you think so "clearly" that I "have not" followed your company's groundrules?

As a repeat post, I will add to my other reply; these are MY groundrules - not theirs. They only have t&c and THAT is a legal contract. My groundrules ensure they comply with them - whatever they try.

Secondly, I'd claim the same day I have access to the bill. That gives you plenty of time for the fun and games they may employ. CPW tring things on is nothing new - they were doing that a decade ago.

Hi, has anyone ordered from mobiles.co.uk. phone contract is up and have seen a good deal for the galaxy s8 on ee. 10gb data, ult'd tetxs/mins for £37.99.
I know there are part of carphone warehouse and repairs can be organized in store.
Has anyone got any personal reviews?.
    Cheers

Have ordered a few sim only deals with them over the years with cashback redemption. Never had a problem. Very reputable, fair and honest company. If the deal is good i'd say go for it!
  • I can't agree with that entirely. Repairs end up worse than they started and people in my group have required LBAs and in some instances issuing to get the cashback which - at times - has proved to be from a very dishonest company.

There was an article in the MSE newsletter recommending a vodafone deal from Mobiles.co.uk. I had a look at this site as a result as I needed a new phone, mine had just broken. I didnt buy the one Martin recommended but bought one on ee as that is my current phone provider.
This company are totally hopeless and Im disappointed I trusted the recommendation in this weeks newsletter to use them. I ordered the phone on Wednesday morning, with free next day delivery. It didnt arrive and I have just been told that its not arriving till tomorrow (Saturday). This is hopeless when my existing phone is out of action and Im disappointed that I acted on information in the email

So a delay on one phone being sent makes a company “totally hopeless”?

    Ok...
