Yes beanielou I'll be prioritising my insurance
I'm WFH today and the post just dropped. Guess what the bank have responded ALREADY to my complaint about the letter they sent that sent me into panic mode. They investigated and it was a computer generated letter sent in error. To say sorry they have credited the card I paid my final payment with (my current account) with £100 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Sent £75 over to my new emergency fund and keeping £25 for treats

Would it not be better to put the money towards a plumber? No upstairs water would be an emergency for me. Thanks beanielou and fortune
INOD, booking a plumber was the first thing I did after I paid the mortgage. This was taken out of this month's budget as I had a little leeway for the first time. So, looking forward to that job being doneBut this is an unexpected windfall so it went straight to emergency fund (well most of it)...:o

It's been a strange but good week for me. Strange because I feel a little dazed at having paid the mortgage off and having leftover money for workmen. It feels like lots of things are happening. I'm setting up new accounts and amending others.
The good things continue... A few months ago I mentioned free exercise classes; yoga, circuits and zumba but I thought they were for younger people. Then I saw a photo of them exercising so I called up and asked and it seems I can go too and the ages vary. The sessions are taking place 5 minutes walk from my home.
I've been looking for an economical way to exercise after cancelling my costly gym and free is the cheapest there is. :money: The classes have been going on since 2014! and are due to end in Spring 2017 and by then new options may present themselves. I didn't have any trainers to go today, so today I bought some pumps that will do for now. I have the rest of the kit but could use a track suit top too so I'll look out for one. But, I'm ready for Monday's class now
On a slightly less positive note the B0den boots didn't fit. I've been pretending to myself they do for a few weeks as I love them but they will give me a bunion so I'm stopping the pretending and sending them back
Oh, and I actually took the bag lady look cardigan out of decluttering and wore it out today. I might have to actually bin it to save myself
In the office tomorrow so off to catch up on other diaries, prep lunch, wash hair and sort out something to wear
I hope you had a good day

Great news on free exercise.

Beanielou, I wouldn't return boots that I had worn either. They are winter boots and we're having a heat wave. Of course I haven't worn them.
