:rotfl:well who knows what's under the coat. Maybe it's reversible so that she can turn it into a cape when rushing to the rescue of another new DFW :D

    Rosa xx

I am still in training and not yet qualified to rescue new DFW, but I will be one day so I'm keeping the coat/cape :D

Well here I am back from Scotland after a brilliant week where all my objectives were achieved :T

In addition I got to see Loch Ness (but not the monster) and snow capped mountains and forests and so much natural beauty it truly blew me away :)

So, a lovely, creative week with lovely creative people :)

I now have a new very tight timetable for the foreseeable future so I can get back on track creatively. I need to stress less and do more. This diary helps, because it is an outlet.

I came home to my debt repayment date being shifted and I think it is a detriment to me. My payment date is mid month. I pay the month before my payment is due at the end of the month so a few weeks early. They have moved it to the end of the month. So, now I have to contact them and ask them to move it back. Or am I wrong and it makes no difference? I can't help thinking they will gain...perhaps I'll phone debt line again.

Back 5 minutes and money stress, but I need to find a way to leave it and concentrate on creative, important stuff.

I need to find 1,500 by September for a creative project. Right now, not sure how I can do that but putting it out into the universe

On a smaller scale. I kept to budget all week. I bought money back with me and had 4 NSDs in a row :D

Happy today, but a bit anxious at the enormity of the things I need to achieve and the money I need to find

I hope you reader are having a fabulous Saturday, even if it's a a little bit good you are doing well x

Glad it went well for you.
Imagine not seeing the monster
Maybe you bagged a haggis instead?

Thanks Beanielou. I did actually have veggie haggis with potatoes, swede and carrots and a creamy whisky sauce. We had my drams of whisky too. I’d like to go back in August for the Edinburgh book festival as someone in the group is reading there, but I don’t know how I can just yet?

Not a bad day for me.

    Washing done and dried :T

Stock made, cooled and in fridge :T

    3 hours writing :T:T:T

    Shopping delivered

Feeling calmer and a bit pleased with myself. I put aside anxieties and I was creative anyway. I need to make that a habit. Two of the strategies I m going to do when I feel stressed out are deep breathing and writing down the stress and come up with an action plan for whatever the issue is and write that down in a note book.

I decided I am going to apply for an arts council grant. They are as rare as hen’s teeth and it will take me a week to complete one, but I’ll treat it like the lottery as you have to be in it to win it. Maybe outlining my intentions to the arts council will help me clarify the project plan. They take 3 months to process the grant so if I don’t get it I’ll be saving in the meantime.

I ate what I was given this week although I turned down puddings and stopped at one alcoholic drink, but I didn't lose a pound. So, going to tackle this by upping the veggies massively this week

I still have last weeks spending money so I am going to save that in an emergency jar as I’ve yet to save anything…

It’s funny but I prioritised going to Scotland over fixing my electrics and having water upstairs. I do think it was the right decision because it’s opened up my life creatively but to push forward I need £1,500 for September so I still won’t be able to address water/electrics and I still might not make the target but it feels right to do this…

I’m thinking about other people’s diaries and selling stuff night be the answer. I know this but I always chicken out. It seems so fraught with problems and time consuming. Sigh…

It feels like I'm going backwards but really I am going forwards as debt is being paid. I'm earning more and in 27 months I will be free. I have to hold on to that.

Anyway, onwards and upwards and all that.

    Happy Sunday reader xx

Glad you had a wonderful time DIA, and crossing fingers, echoing request to the universe etc for your creative money.

Also I hope you do get to the book festival - I stopped off there briefly last year and it was lovely. What is it that worries you about going - is it the travel or accommodation or something else that would be the problem?

The only thing that will stop me going to the festival is available money Rosa. :o
I have been to the festival before Beanielou and you are right it was great. :)

A stay at home, non working day today. Damp and overcast. I was going to go out but I think I’ll stay home today and have a NSD.

I spent money yesterday. I went to a lunchtime concert with a friend. :D I had a coffee but I was determined not to spend money unnecessarily I went from 10-7 with no food. Must plan better next time!

I went to Ald* yesterday. I got free range chicken for £2.99! I also got the super six veggies and they were all very fresh. Loving that shop. :)

I was creative for 2 hours this morning and will do the same again this afternoon. :j:jMy new plan is to do creative work first thing on the 4 days I am home based in the morning. This means a 5.30am start so I need to be in bed for 11pm at the latest for the plan to work.

I seem to have done loads of washing up today. Four times!

I made a Thai red chicken curry and added sweet potato and swede.

I made a batch of lentil and tomato and watercress soup. Nice but I wouldn’t use watercress again, spinach would have been better, but make do and mend and all that…

Feeling good today, I always feel better when I can do my creative work :)

I heard from two of my Scottish friends today :)

    I posted a birthday card

I haven’t heard back from that additional job. I don’t feel disappointed. I thought I would, but now I have this creative project I won’t have the time. This means the debt will be paid off in 27 months, when if I got the job it might have been 18 months, but that’s okay. Everything in it’s own time.

I hope your Tuesday is going well reader

    Hi DIA

    You sound wonderfully positive :)

I'm glad you're going to do your creative project - doing the extra job sounded exhausting, and you do need a balance between making your future your own, and ensuring you are happy and sane when you arrive there.

    Hurrah for Ald*
