Thank you all for the support you have given me during 2017 :A
You will never know how much I appreciated it.

There were many things in 2017 that did not go well. There are many things in 2017 I could have done better. If you ever read this diary you probably know some of those things. I am not going to focus on them. Instead I am going to finish 2017 focusing on what I did well so I can take the positivity into 2018. ;)

    MONEY AND INVESTING

    Tackling debt
Paid off £13,000 of debt :T:T:T
    Achieved mortgage free status :T:T:T

    Increasing income
Started my own private teaching group
Taught a successful summer class for 8 weeks (used money for debt)
Taught a successful short course (used money for debt)
Did a private gig and paid the money to debt
Received royalties and paid those to debt

    Investing in me
Attended a residential masterclass in my creative field at Oxford University
Gained an agreement that I could work a 4 day week in 2018
    Decreased my BMI
Joined a gym and started exercising again
    Improved my iron levels
Got a new GP (after years of moaning about the old one) and she is fabulous :)

    Investing in my home
    Gutters cleared
    Squirrels vacated my loft
Foxes banished from my garden (alive and dead)
Front door canopy stripped, repaired and painted

    Giving
    Served at 2 charity dinners
    Gave private donations for charity

In 2017 I did okay. More than okay. In 2018 new options will open up for me so I plan to do better.

    Bring it on :D

If that is your definition of okay then I would hate to see outstanding! You have cleared the mortgage, shifted a raft of debt, invested in yourself, helped to develop others and along the way had a good time :p
