Crowdpleaser - Happy Birthday!!!
Lynn - I've tried that before but it didn't last longOily stuff lasts longer and it was noticeably easier to open/close today.
Town done, returns made, gave some free coffee vouchers to some homeless men, bank done, I bought myself an A5 organiser (Like a fil0fax only cheaper, it was £22 originally, now £11 :money::D ) which I'm going to set up with daily checklists for cleaning/earning/work/diet etc and leave at home, then my smaller one DD got me for Christmas is going to be used when I go shopping (it'll have on going lists of things needed/wanted & what size clothes DD is etc) as well as budgets and coupons, a single hole punch (so I can punch papers to go anywhere instead of trying to use my double hole punch), some little zip pockets to go in the smaller organiser for coupons, some washi tape to mark holidays on the calenders, and some sweetsIt didn't matter how many shops I went into I just couldn't find things I was willing to pay money for :money: I tried to pick a few household things that will be needed soon but they were sold out. Now I just need to sit down and work out how much of the various budgets I have left.
Had a bit of a surprise while out. I was walking along and the next minute this thing hit the back of my head and covered my face as it nearly sent me flying. As quickly as it was there it was gone again. It was only a blooming big seagull after my pizza slice  Thankfully it didn't break the skin on my head but it is sore.

Really really nice taxi driver today, mil made a mistake and booked her taxi to the hospital too early so sent him away when it arrived and rang for another. Course it was school run time then so none available at short notice, 10 mins after taxi was due, driver I recognised comes takes us to the hospital which is usually a £10-£12 trip and said it was free, all the drivers were booked and he was on a day off as he'd done his quota, but they rang him and said what had happened(mil does have a lot of taxis) and he came in took us but said the reason he hadn't got his sign on the roof was he was doing it as a favour so couldn't/wouldn't charge. He wouldn't even let me give him a tip. Really nice man who will def get a tip next time we have him as an official taxi driverSPC~12 ot 124

Evening,
Welcome / welcome back as appropriate:D and remember Rome wasn't built in a day
What a nice taxi driver, Mrs MP
Glad you have doggie company LW
First day of new routine today. Kids went to club either side of school, feel guilty, but it is only for 10 weeks. DS was in a temper. Sat with him on our bottom step and he cried, eventually we worked out why he was so cross (power struggles with another boy at school), think he felt better getting it out. Asked what he thought might be a good idea? Play with other children (bingo! That's my boy!). Bless him.
DD lost her tooth so need to be tooth fairy lateraww it's not fair, she's too little
wahwahwah
Had very encouraging unofficial paid stuff news today which I'm very pleased about, a step forward in my grand plan! Plus I called college to make sure it's still on, and that they are expecting me (yes x2) so full steam ahead
Also will be WFH tomorrow which I'm pleased about too - less rushing, time to sort tea before I go, and will get a squeeze from the littlies before I go
All change!
So the list will be later than usual tomorrow night.
All I've done flying wise is clean up after dinner. But we've not been here so no more mess generatedno packup to sort but I've folded DS pe kit, and got DDs out for morning, and checked book bags. Listened to both littlies read, and packed them off to bed
I won't be far behind them, once I've found a shiny coin for DD...Bossymoo

Mrs MP - What a nice driver
Okay so I didn't do anything on the list after tea but I did decant almost empty bottles in the bathroom into travel bottles. They're currently upside down getting the dregs outThen I tided my room and changed my bed while catching up with perisc0pe, tidied the kitchen, updated budgets, and tided my desk off. DD washed up then went to bed. I'm just getting myself sorted for tomorrow while I wait for my phone to charge again lol
