The last load of washing is in the machine and towels are in the drier as its raining here. I've clipped the dogs claws, put my non-iron laundry away and completed one campaigns accounts in detail. I'm about half way through the second but needed to look at something else other than invoices. I'm going to take great delight in shredding paid stuff paperwork when I finally reach that stage in a couple of years :rotfl:
Oh well, kettle boiled and coffee number 492,503 ready so I best get on. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
All three WM loads are being showered on intermittently and blown but are drying so I'm leaving them out. Tomorrow's forecast is rain in the afternoon so I can get dry stuff in and shuffle what's still wet to the windy bits of line and leave it out overnight. Good-oh.
Middle layer Dysoned because OH has a meeting this evening in the dining room and I can get away with not dusting, but the carpet did need to be defluffed. I've never known a dog shed as much as Kelpie.
Chalet visited, dehumidifier pulled back into the sitting room and set going, excellent builder briefed on where the leaky bits and door frame need attention and given the keys, new flatpack wardrobe delivered, clean washing taken back and put away, four mouse repellers plugged back in and switched on, tip visited and two boxes of attic crud deposited. Hurrah!
Seriously missing Dusty's posts.
Now for a bit of desky writing and researching.Better is good enough.0 -
Hi all
Feeling quite cheery here despite the weather! Kitchen cupboards and surfaces wiped, hoovered the floor, polished where needed. Floor not too bad and I am not washing it now just before everyone lands home from work and school.
Need to look at my online banking then get on with tea. Might find a sneaky 10 minutes to read my book.
Oh and its cold, have put the heating on, might light the fire too.0 -
Hob cleaned
Ground floor henried
Under sofas henried
I'm very lazy0 -
*Waving madly from the sides
I'm lurking as RL is way too busy at the mo. Got builders and surveyors all over the place, site meetings and deliveries to coordinate...phew!
I have tried to keep up with everyone's news, but the thread is moving along very quickly!
Have washed the last load of washing that had built up since we were flooded. That was a mission and a half. So pleased with my new washer and tumble drier - just have to iron the mountain now :rotfl:
Got to make a list of priority jobs to get done this week. My head's all in a whirl and I'm forgetting loads of important things. I do know I've got to take Tiny to the doctors tomorrow about his skin at lunchtime, but the rest of the week is fuzzy...0 -

Just waiting for Mr LW to get in from work, then we have to go and visit @ldi - we're nearly out of milk again. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
moved DS's bed, vacuumed under it. Remade be with clean linen.
Got a bucket of warm water + detergent and wiped down chest of drawers by his bed, other chest of drawers and vanity unit (ie bit with mirror) and radiator and sill. Cleaned window and vacuumed that side of room *points* then it was time to leave for work.
On way home I popped into Dunelm (mucho xmas stuff in sale reduced to 25% of original price) because I need new swish curtain hooks to replace some. As a result have now thrown all the curtain hooks I brought here with me which don't fit these tracks - well I have bagged them for chazzer...and bought handwarmers (treat for DD) and another pair for gift stash for 62p - it would be rude not to!). they have Disney biscuit barrels reduced to 99p - am pondering whether to buy for Vallikids for stocking filler...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

narco (think it was you that mentioned libraries) I have now officially banned myself from libraries for the second time. I am awful, and have paid more in fines than the books are worth. not very mse. Tried the supermobile as you get six weeks instead of three, but I was just as bad.0 -
