Morning all,
Snow! Children excited, OH excited as our new car is land rover and he wants to go and play in it.
Yesterday very productive, some decorating done, long dog walk, plus all public rooms got a bit of a going over as next-door neighbours were coming round for a curry (which they had made, so all I had to do was get some plates out!
Today's plan is dog walk in the snow with family, plus more decorating. I am determined we will be using these downstairs rooms soon.
piggers an official copy of marriage certificate should be fine. The whole passport thing is very expensive though. ours have all run out and it will cost loads to get them all renewed.
Hope your DH OK juliejimx0 -
Morning!
Played out for an hour, sledges. Brooms to rattle tree branches - hilarious - and shovels so kiddies could play at clearing the drive.
I the. Put them in the back garden till they started bickering at which point I gathered they were getting cold. So they are back indoors eating cereal with warm milk. And slowly cheering up
We will attempt the journey to swimming but I'll set off early and take some snacks this time!Bossymoo

Afternoon all.
Juliejim - hope DH is on the mend soon.
No snow here yet, just really cold. Have had quite a lazy morning with DH who is home today (yay) and just took the dogs for a short walk.
I had a letter to post. It's to someone in my own village, but when I tried to find their house yesterday to hand deliver it I had to give up. Could n't find the number, every house in the village seems to have a name not a number. Pity the poor postie!
I haven't decided yet what to do with the rest of the day, but LittleyDog seems to be indicating that it's play time.
Hope everyone's having a great day.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Juliejim hope DH improves soon x
Feeling a bit cold and achy not being helped by AF. Been out and cleaned out the chooks as thought they'd like a nice warm fresh bed ... I'm daft like that .... and brought some wood in to light the woodburner. Just ordered some skirts online for Z and used Quidco plus should have a £10 bonus for buying before 31.1 so will see if that happens or not.
Ironing to do this afternoon before J goes back. Miserable outside, very grey and just bleugh really. Hope those of you with snow stay warm and safe.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Dd3 and her fiance walked round in the snow so stretched dinner with extra veg as we weren't expecting them.
They are now tidying her old bedroom and sorting stuff, just incase they need to move back between selling their flat and finding a house.
Watched another DVD this morning and did some more cross stitch.
Ds2 has orthodontist appt tomorrow so Dh is using a halfday off work to save me taxi fayres.
Been round mils and changed her bedding for her, she admitted to a sight fall the other day trying to do it herself and panics as she didn't know what she would do if she couldn't get up, I've to.d her times to keep her moblie phone in her wAlking frame just in case but she won't. So I've ordered her a cordless house phone so she can put that in around the house and have it on charge while she's watching tv. It's all I can think of - that and stop leaving the keys in the front door after she's locked it as we wouldn't be able to get into help her without breaking the door if anything did happen.SPC~12 ot 124

I hope your husband is on the mend, JulieJim. *Coping vibes* for you, to help with the rushing around.
Yesterday's WM load folded and put away and the weather forecast has now finally been changed to rain rain rain. Since the beginning of January it's been promising two or three fine days in a row after just a couple more wet ones, now the seven day forecast says it's just non-stop. Much more realistic. Still have one more load to do but that'll just have to wait.
Bins done, dog walked, meal plan scribbled out, things tidied.Better is good enough.0 -
