We too have that weather here. I like it too!

DD needs to go back to Uni sometime soon; she can delay it until Tuesday but the weather is being watched closely as we have to go over moorland, high up which is where snow will fall if anywhere. If it's Tuesday mama is taking her; I dare not risk it in case I get stuck in traffic and don' make it back to work.

Hallway cleared and dusted and banisters and spindles polished and I have used the radiator brush on the radiator 'innards'. Shall vacuum stairs first, then hallway.

Honey Bear - lol at you being 'cross' your stick cleaner is working!

I have blagged the coupon for 70p off a Sunday paper tomorrow from mama:money:

    howdy :)

Just having a peaceful HH here, listening to the kiddies play. Think DS is glad of a gentle playmate in his sister ;) he's being kind to her lol. They are singing together while they play, very sweet :A

Been out to ballet for DD - brrrr it was chilly sat in there... Then home for bacon butties ;) had a bit of story time and now this.

I've emptied and reloaded DW, and stuck a wash on to get uniforms done. Nowhere else to go today so just chilling out I think, probably a film at some point.

Similarly tomorrow, we have swimming lessons but not much else. I could do with sorting a bit of a meal plan - my diet not going so well :o having said that, I had fruit and yoghurt for brekki, and bacon medallions with WM bread, no butter for lunch. So all SW friendly today. Just had one coffee and 2 cups of hot sf squash. I've got some cauli rice for later - might do fakeaway egg fried rice.

Valli i had the camera down the opposite direction - had to be under sedation but was still a very barfable experience- proper felt like I was choking - bleurgh not something I ever want to repeat...

  • Hi all

Aww to Bossys/B] kids playing nicely. Hugs to those with lurgies and BDs.

Sun shining. Lazy start. I am gently pottering about, tidying here and there and trying to reduce the washing mountain. Off to try and coax the dog out for a walk in a minute.

I have picked DHs clothes up off the floor, folded them neatly and put them away. If they needed washing they would be in the laundry basket wouldnt they?

My mealplanning has gone a bit awry this month as well. This is something I need to tackle this afternoon.

Curry made and dw unloaded and reloaded.

Decluttered a walk at the lake where the kids blew off some energy in the play area. Me and Dh also had a hot choc whilst there! Yum!

Going to hang up wet washing and then get on with some knitting I think x

Washing sorted, kitchen and LR put right, stood out front awhile watching DS play on his buggy/kart contraption. Just come in and taught him to tie shoelaces;) now got a film on, hot water bottle and a cuppa.

Think that's us for today, folks. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday xx

I'm logging off too. DH is home and we're catching up with the recorded Dr Who's.

    Have a great evening everyone.

I am really angry.. I've just had to inform DD3 she cannot go on the trip to France with all her friends because they wont give her or me a passport.. I cant because the name on my birth certificate is not the name I use and she cant because the name on their birth certificate is different to mine. I know Australian people with UK passports but me who was born here and never even been outside of England cannot... its a total farce!!

Our new vet is great, she didnt even touch him, she just got me to pick him up so she could look at the bits she needed to see. DH met me at the vets for moral support, which was great but I felt a bit defeated that I didnt manage it on my own. YorkshireDog needs more visits though so watch this space.
Don't feel bad - some dogs do require Mum and Dad there for comfort, and YorkshireDog is just one of those. Hopefully he'll gain confidence in the new vet; she sound like she's got empathy with her patients.:o

_pale__pale__pale_ They'd have to catch me first - any threat of something like that, I'd be off as fast as me little paws could propel me wheelchair!:eek::eek:

Pigpen, I share your disappointment for your DD3. Wish I could wave a magic wand and get her one.
