Bossy- so jealous of your snow! When we packed our decs away ds2 said christmas wasn't finished because it hadnt snowed!

Did three loads of washing this morning and pottered. Then had a family party this afternoon. After that I went to buy the mattress for the cot.

After that I felt pretty rubbish. So we had a rubbish tea (shared a pizza) and then I put the kids to bed. Had an hour sitting down and started to feel a lot better. Hubby gone out with his mates and I should really have done something productive with my time by hey ho!

    Remaining list....

Clean the sink, taps and grotty plugholes
    Clean the toilets!

    Thursday - Master bedroom
    Clear that floordrobe
    Dust and vac
    Polish a mirror
Thank you cards half way through but ran out of thank you cards!
    HHI

    Friday - Kids rooms
Clear a surface and wipe it
    Dust and deweb
    Vacuum too
    Clear the stairs
    Hoover the stairs
10 minutes in the spare room.

Hugs, sticks, spoons & vibes to all as I've forgotten what I was going to say :o

Not much flying done here today except laundry. I don't know how many loads I did but I'm caught up until beds are changed and showers are had tomorrow. I've written my shopping lists for tomorrow (again split the list to save even more money :D) and I've been knitting while watching the snooker semi-finals or Hoarders

Tomorrow I'm hoping to get up. clean upstairs then out to the shops and back before the finals start then I'll clear the ironing while watching it ;) While I'm busy doing that DD is going to finish her homework. I'm going to make some bread & possibly some cakes as well tomorrow. I'll just have to see how I get on.

Off to watch the end of this episode and then head to bed.

Morning ladies. Laying here thinking about everything and as a result worrying massively...

I've got to shake it off!

Sorry about the passport issue Pigpen. I thought a certified copy was considered OK for ID purposes - certainly I've used them in the past, although not with the Passport Office. What happens if, for example, your original personal paperwork was lost in a house fire?

Getting tired now...off for a snooze...

    Morning all

Well DH is still in hospital and won't be out until at least tomorrow so I'm still hospital visiting. Today I must try and reclaim my kitchen as I don't think I've done any dishes since he went in Tue night! I also need to get the washing done so the kids have uniforms for tomorrow. We have snow so I'm hoping some of it will have cleared up by this afternoon and I've got to drive in it.

I now can't remember anything I've read so hugs, sticks and anything else you need to everyone.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning lovelies

jazee really sorry to hear your sad news, love and strength vibes to you all xx

Another week over, January is going so quick dont you think. Ive had the most horrendous cold since Thursday so things have gone a bit belly up here, yesterday was a complate write off but seem to feel a bit better today, not much but a bit, more human like, so, lots of chores to catch up on, and i really hate using my Sunday for housework lol

DD1 is 39 weeks today  im not prepared :rotfl: poor love is as fed up like a fed up thing from fedupsville, what with the miscarriage early last year shes been pregnant for a year, she wants her body back lol all exciting stuff though, my phone never leaves my side.

Picked up an extra 2 hrs work this coming week from one of my customers whos been poorly so wants me to catch up with her ironing etc kerching, extra dosh for the pot but less time for me to do stuff here as its on my official cleaning day lol

DD2 is 16 on Thursday  lots of exam revision going on and a possible little part time job in the offing at frankie and bennys, her big sis arranged it (often acting manager but on maternity leave atm) and shes to go and see the boss either this monday or next, its a canny hike to get there though, and taxi driver mam wont be taking her, hope shes prepared.

Dont know what to do first, i need a plan of action to get through stuff today so ill start with writing a list.....

    WM x3
    DW x2
    wipe benches
prep corned beef hash in SC
    tidy LR (no mean feat)
    hoover through
    meal plan for this week
put anti freeze in the car
    wipe coffee table
open all curtains and air the rooms, get the germs out.
    Pay bills online
sort work bag and diary fill in

Thats all I can think of for now, time for brew no.2

    laters xx

  • Morning everyone

No snow here, blimey its cold though. Our little dog sleeps in our office which is a single storey extension at the back of the house and it was freezing in there when I went in this morning.

embb how exciting for you! And Dizzy you have had a lot to cope with. I wont say try not to worry because I am the worst in the world! Hugs. Oh and hugs for jjs hubby too.

Not sure what the plan is today. I really need to do my mealplan, which I put off yesterday. Need to try and have a little chat with DS2 about school/homework which seems to be slipping down his list of priorities. Any advice on motivating a 15 year old lad who thinks he knows it all? I love him really but dont they try your patience at this age.

    Another brew calls I think.
