Hard to believe that are supposed to be are BFFs.......
Effectively they are going to use trade sanctions against the UK like countries do against the likes of Iran for nuclear proliferation or South Africa for aparheid..... It's hard to see how this won't generate real anger here in The UK.
We must kowtow to Brussells or we will pay...

Fine.
We should all now fully expect the EU to negotiate a separation that protects it's interests first and foremost - just as we expect the UK to negotiate with British interests first and foremost.
European negotiators are obligated to negotiate the best possible deal for the EU, even if that is to the detriment of British interests in the process, and of course vice versa.
The recent Tory conference has indicated Britain is prepared to sacrifice our economic interests in favour of political considerations - you should expect no less of the EU.
Anyone that believed the EU would roll over and beg us to continue trading with them is sadly mistaken - we have far more to lose than they do.
What tosh! The EU are advocating a position of trade sanctions against the UK and you think that is justified! Are you mad? Would the UK have been justified in taking that stance if Scotland had decided to leave the UK?Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -
It's likely to just be a token VISA application, but they could apply any restrictions that they wanted.
How nasty do they want this to get? They are going to give visa free travel to Turkey but not the UK?
if that is the route they take this could get really ugly.Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -

What's Angela Merkel admitting by urging German business to take the medicin that she is prescribing? That really all 27 countries also want to leave the EU? What does that say about the EU?Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -
I remember the brexitoids on here claiming how the EU would be falling over themselves to offer us the sweetest deal ever. Because we're so important or something.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0

As ugly as Liam Fox calling their citizens living here 'negotiation cards'?

That would be the sensible thing to do.
Hollande fans the flames of hate. The Socialist leader insisted: “There must be a threat, there must be a risk, there must be a price. Otherwise we will be in a negotiation that cannot end well.”On Thursday evening, a normally more diplomatic Mr Hollande did not mince his words. Europe, he noted, “has always lived with crises. But this time, it’s not another crisis. It is the crisis.”

The real crisis for Hollande is that he won't be in power much longer. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
