If we vote for Brexit what happens

But were they voting on immigration issues. This might be a huge problem for any parliamentary vote on Article 50. Because in 2020 or sooner, those that want a rerun re Brexit will be split between parties. A party like UKIP running on a single issue will sweep all of these up against anyone who wants to dilute Brexit and include FOM.
I wouldn't want to be Theresa May right now to be honest. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

And bear in kind that this seemingly "near their friends and family" line can be used to argue for deporting people to all kinds of places, so maybe consider leaving it to people to decide for themselves?
That depends on the employer, the employee, skills, opportunity and much more.
State them.

you had the opportunity to vote against the 40 year old discrimination of the black african countries and their peoples.
you proudly chose to continue this discrimination against the black african peoples in favour of favouring white christian countries.
Like the white people of Selma you see no discrimination.0 -

However, joking aside, the Ashcroft polls do show that Leave voters aren't exactly keen on immigration or multi-culturalism, or women's rights, or liberalism, or the environment, or a whole list of other things that Remain voters do actually care about.
I will admit to not having spoken to anyone who voted for Leave as for whatever reason I don't seem to mix with that kind of person. People on low/no incomes, yes, people from many walks of life, yes, people of all faiths and colours, yes, disabled people, unemployed people, yes, yes and yes, but seemingly not Leave voters.
Either they are keeping their mouths shut or I've chosen my friends wisely.
Have you asked this circle of people if they voted in the European Elections. Given the very low turn out I suspect they didn't. Did you?
I voted remain and also voted in the European Elections.
I am amazed that many of the remainders Post Brexit are suddenly so interested and supportive of the EU.
More of us should have spoken up about our support before we ever got close to a referendum. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

I guess you voted to treat all the peoples of all the countries of the world equally?
only madmen really believe that it is practical to (say) accept 50 million new arrivals next week but it does allow a self delusional grandstanding0 -

No, I voted for a system which is a gradual step along the path I would like to see the world taking toward free movement for everyone.
I guess you voted against such a system to become more insular.0 -
Housing benefit at £24 billion per year. Discretionary housing payments at £185 million per year. The payments have tripled since introduction of the benefits cap and increasing rapidly. There should be different council tax rates for home owners, second home owners and renters.
Broken UK, beyond repair. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

You voted along with the huge numbers of people who were terrified that Turkey might join the exclusive white christian club :
they were only pacified by your fellow voters convincing them that there was no prospects of such a 'disaster' happening for at least 30 years and that anyway they could rely on the racist East European countries vetoing such a move.
You voted to keep your exclusive white club unchanged.
The free movement of people, in any reasonable time frame, would lead to world wide conflict : and you know it.
Just like the communist fellow travellers of the 30s, you like to grandstand what you consider are principled values but which can lead only to war and death.
However, just for the record, I believe in a world with totally free movement of people, with peace everywhere, with equality of incomes, with freedom from want, with freedom from persecution , with freedom from discrimination of believes and of sexual orientation and certainly freedom from the gross discrimination practiced by the white christian countries of europe.0 -
Brexit, or the thought of it becoming 'normalised' in peoples attitudes now.
Anecdote alert- I spoke to a Dutch tourist in a local 'caff' the other day, expressed his surprise at how at ease he thought Brits were with their decision. Like most Europeans, he seemed very knowledgeable on the machinations of the EU, he considered the loss of the UK as the political failure of Merkel and Hollande.
As an aside, as the resident of a market town on the edge of Dartmoor, I have never seen so many foreign visitors, cafe`s and pubs are rammed with them.
If a Brexit vote was the UK distancing itself from Europe it would appear Europeans have other ideas. For a country of xenophobes and closet racists we seem quite popular.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0
