I think you will find home owners are not as concerned about the value of their property as you and Crashy seem to think.

How much of that debt is mortgage debt and how much is other debt car loans credit cards etc.

It doesn't affect existing home owners who have been on the ladder for many years..........

If you are a public sector worker you are probably on a national pay scale and someone on your pay would not be priced out in other areas.

If your a public worker up north your rich (relative) and if your down south your poor (relative).

The housing market is the new stock market, it's worth a lot more than the FTSE! Instead of the FTSE 100 being displayed on the news channel, it should be replaced with average UK house price. It seems the most used economic indicator these days.

I'm not sure where you're getting your statistics from. Please show your sources and working. Thanks.

You must know the result of the referendum surely.

I have control over what I write but have close to zero understanding of the bigot mindset.

I am not a bigot. I do not write things to appeal to bigots. I do not think that bigots will find anything in what I write appeals to them.

So we're left with your opinion.

Let me muse for a while on the value of that.

    Or apparently 44% now...

Referendum results add up to 100%. Polls don't.

And people say it's the leavers who are uneducated.

Yes, of course, but this asked a single question at a single point in time. You seem to have more information so please share.

Baby boomer and contrary to what Crashy might think me and my friends don't sit around celebrating how much our house is worth. The times we do talk about property prices most off us agree that prices are to high and how difficult it is for young people to buy.
