Don't worry about him, he's just panicking about potential Negative Equity and on a one man market ramping mission having just bought in at peak bubble prices... now desperately urging others to ''dive right in and buy''0 -
No panic here, no vendetta and no obsession. I've bought a family home with a small mortgage, we'll own 70% of it and monthly payments will be buttons. It's a dream home, with 2 tiny tots to raise it's perfect. I also have no concerns about house prices dropping, I know they won't crash, and as a happily married man who works part time I couldn't be more content with things really.
We know who has problems with houses being expensive though.0 -

He hijacks so many different threads and starts talking about house price crashes being inevitable, even if it's irrelevant to the topic. I generally enjoy this forum and it passes the time while I'm sitting chilling.0 -

How did you come up with that conclusion??? I am happy with negative equity and I have been de-ramping property prices. Low income families should not be priced out of the housing market.
The market is transitioning from a seller's market to a buyers market, that's good news for FTBs.

Ah those happy Northerners.
I used to be one (Manchester suburb) but found the job market plain.. boring and just a tad insecure. Migrated South, now I'm happy in job but have a towering mortgage to clear not many years before the big R.
Never mind, I'm told I could sell my garden shed for the price of a retirement bungalow in Spain.0 -
Maybe there is a north south thing, I've no idea. But the loudest shouter on this forum is also from the land of the haggis, though I've no idea if he's actually on the same planet as everyone else0

I am close to being priced out of my property market and I earn double the average wage.
Glasgowdan - Just to let you know I have posted on 4 threads (including 1 started by me) .......
