Brexit will not expand our sphere of interaction it will shrink it

Please screen print what you e just said there and reflect on it in the future. No offence but the delusion is just so profound, almost cult like

Our sphere of interaction will be immeasurably greater as we sit at all the global tables representing ourselves. You have such an over hyped sense of the skills of the men in Brussles, just workaday technocrats dreadful at trade deals

Why do you have such a timid view of Britian, it's alien to me

And before you say it I am to my core a realist, not a potty optimist

I think that allowing everyone to move is distinct from everyone moving, population flows are a self equilibrating phenomenon. Even so, I think violence regarding population movement is only brought by people like you who are seeking to restrict other people's movement.

how many people are there that might resist with violence?

e.g you would expect christians to be welcome in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Afganistan, Pakistan etc
You would expect Russia to welcome a few million muslim people from the Middles East?
similarly would they be welcomed in Romania / Bulgaria etc
China would allow free movement from all over the world?

no idea what a self equilibrating actual means....
is that what happened when the Viking came here?
or the Germans hopped into Poland
or a few europeans visited the Americas?

I don't think Brussels was (is?) Amazing and there are many floors with the EU but better to be in the club changing and influencing than not

My main issue with your assertion about seats at very table is this is great for security and global issues like climate etc but companies do business with other companies and it is this trade that increases our wealth - I ask again what uk trade is currently being hampered by an EU deal that our companies have been lobbying to resolve?

Are there tariffs on selling insurance and legal services in India and China which we can now (or in the future) circumvent that will allow uk companies to make more profit than currently?
Left is never right but I always am.

You've been saying that for years yet plenty of people have bought and paid off all most if not all of thier mortgage since you started.

I bet very few who bought in London since the `08 collapse have.

I don't know about London but where I am prices are almost 50% higher than the 2007 so if they bought at £300k with a 10% deposit with £65k they will have paid off mortgage they will have plenty of equity.

I've given a list of our key exports over and again, can't you do your own thinking guys?

I thought you Bremains dealt in facts?

We have the worlds second largest satellite sector, massive aerospace players, music, media, concerts, film, silicon chips, medicine, F1, Football, consultancy, carbon fibre, gaming, the list is endless, and then there's the financial services, insurance, law contracts rendered in London etc etc

While music and football speculatively say that they will suffer - not sure anyone can confirm such things.

As someone from the legal services sector - while some deals have been postponed, new deals are coming in - I would say this sector looks rosy at the moment. Actually, due to the weakened pound, it seems that international firms are taking an opportunistic go at getting in extra UK services at a lower rate while it lasts (I've seen lots of short notice requests for services coming in - normally they plan much further ahead or even scale back if not urgent).

I am Remainer and have spelled out negatives previously (and no doubt will continue to), but I feel I need to be more balanced than I have been and acknowledge (or at least not hide) any potential good news there may be.
To err is human, but it is against company policy.

Very few can afford the London properties that will be at risk. Those who bought them to speculate will find other way to cut the losses.
Folks who bought to live in as a long term home will be barely affected unless they overstretched themselves financially. (nothing new, always has been like that)

Well there has never been a property bubble like this, especially in London, so it is likely that people are more stretched than in previous decades? My bet is that large numbers of people around the UK have stretched themselves financially to get into the property bubble, and are now probably quite concerned.
