If we vote for Brexit what happens

certainly worth listening to
he says
-EU immigration is rising
-UK exports to the EU are falling
-overall their model says the UK GDP is higher by 2% due to free trade within the EU
2% more gdp plus x% higher population = negligible difference in GDP per head.
Does GDP or GDP/head matter more to you? China has a much larger GDP than the UK - does that make the average Chinese person better off?!I think....0 -
This thread is full of postings complaining or talking about issues and problems that have nothing to do with the EU.
In fact this referendum has given a lot of people pause for thought and let them look around at our society.
So many of the problems highlighted in this and other threads lie completely at the door of British Politiciens of ALL PARTYS.
They have been asleep at the wheel. They have created a two or three speed society that is finding voice during the referendum debate.
Do I think things will change, do I heck.
At the last General Election 33% of Voters DID NOT VOTE.
At local elections it has been as high as 60% of voters DID NOT VOTE.
At the last European Parliament election in the UK over 64% of voters DID NOT VOTE.
That is "called" democracy
I wonder what the turnout will be on Thursday for a referendum that some says is the largest decision Britain has made in many people's lifetime.
I hope it is VERY HIGH but I have my doubts. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

neither. its GDP(PPP)/Capita
the size and changing rate of the population is also an important factor in GDP(PPP)/Captia0 -

Back in 2012 DC knew immigration control was impossible and yet still made the same claim in 2015.I think....0 -

good point
it is very frustrating that most of the articles etc on the economy only ever mention GDP and not per capita
even accepting that GDP is a poor measure the effective standard of living of the people0 -

Latest Survation poll has 1% lead for Remain.
That's down from 3% remain lead last time.
Last 3 polls have Leave improving their position. If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -

I don't believe it.
Almost all of those 'don't know' votes will go towards remain after recent events.
Why do you say that?0
